Large rectangular mirror 15 ins. wide x 19.5 ins. tall, wooden-framed, swivels on two ornately carved wooden uprights, mounted on large, carved and shaped wooden base. Total height 27.5 ins., base 10 ins. deep x 24 ins. wide, standing on 4 round wooden feet. The bulbous turned supports (legs) are exactly at each corner where no one sits solving the problem of leg room most efficiently.It has been in daily use by my family at least for all of the 20th century and maybe from new. We use it every day but intend replacing it with a more modern table. It is in need of some restoration to return it to pristine condition. For a keen restorer this is a straightforward job. This Davenport is furnished with a very attractive olive green skiver with gilded tooling.
