The little Centaur is a 19th-century copy of the Old Centaur kept at the Vatican Museums. A wonderful example of Neoclassical sculpture, it rests on a porphyry base and has been crafted into a wonderful Italian statuary marble, while the original kept at the Vatican Museums is much larger and carved in Bigio Morato marble. Painstakingly chiselled into details and in excellent condition, only the thumb of the right hand is missing, as shown in pictures. Belvedere torso - Carrara marble sculpture in the round -

Academic sculpture of the Belvedere torso, with some changes from the original (as shown in the attached pictures) i.e. completed with some of its parts, for a better academic rendering. Finely craved in Carrara marble, it appears softened by ageing,though it still is in excellent condition. Supported by a metal pin, which is inserted, in its turn, in a beautiful and uniform one-piece of Egyptian alabaster. The work looks very elegant and perfect as a furnishing. Sculpture in the round of a rabbit - antique yellow marble

This little rabbit is carved into wonderful antique yellow marble (surely Numidicus i.e from Numidia, the North-Eastern African region currently named Algeria, where it used to be mined in ancient Roman times) and is an inspiring example of high-quality craftsmanship, for an eclectic market hungry for novelties. Born in this decade () as a result of the Liberty movement, i.e. the Italian Art Deco, which marks the birth of the Italian design. Starting in , which marks the beginning of those roaring years of beauty and useless pomp, only devoted to extreme luxury in almost all fields, when the artist could give free rein to his creativity, this period culminates in , that is one of the greatest economic crisis of all times. The artefact is in good condition (the grains surrounding it are the main feature of antique yellow marble and represent inclusions of desert terrain onto the mine site). Exceptionally beautiful solid sandstone sculpture depicting Maria and child. The sculpture has a weathered look that gives an attractive and sought-after look. The work is pretty old.
