The small bust "Zeus or Neptune" was the subject, only a conservative restoration. The head was relocated above her bust, certainly with pin and malta, no fillings. The sculpture was crafted so beautiful for preparation, archaeological collections, left shoulder and tears old seeds. However overall the artifact is in a fairly good state of preservation, in its original patina, worked in fine Italian statuary, held up by an original metal pin, on a bed in red Levanto. The sculpture was crafted archaeologically, the preparation with recesses of the left shoulder is beautiful together with the semi-ancient tears. However, overall the artefact is in a fairly good state of preservation, in its original patina, crafted in a fine Italian statuary, held up by an original metal linchpin, on a Levanto red base. Large 19th Century Victorian classical roman bronzed bust statue

This is a large 19th century Victorian bust in the Roman Classical style. This is a museum quality piece and is in excellent condition with only some minor wear to the base commensurate with age. The bronze finish appears to be the original Victorian finish with the gilt possibly being a later addition. The bust measures 75 cm tall and 60 cm wide. It is made from either terracotta or plaster which has been coated or painted in a bronze and gilt effect finish. It is not signed however the quality is excellent indicating that this was made by a master. The bust has only ever been dry dusted due to the age of the piece and due to the finish this item would not be recommended for outside use and would be best placed indoors. The marble stand shown in the images is not for sale and not included in the listing. This item could be displayed either on a table or column as it is considerable lighter than the marble varieties. Sold in excellent condition, a 19th Century French Bust of the French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, in greatcoat and hat, looking to the right, with imperial eagle with outstretched wings below, and brass plaque inscribed "Napoleon 1er ", par Colombo, also signed "R Colombo" and dated on right shoulder, with seal "Bronze garanti au titre, Paris " on left shoulder, writing "Pinedo Bronzier Paris" on the left hand side at the rear, on mottled red marble shaped base. Height of bronze: 50 cm, width 29 cm. Very heavy: 19.9 Kg (3 stone, 3 lbs). The bronze bust of Napoleon sits on a hardwood pedestal table which is also included in the sale price. This table has a scalloped circular top inset with rose marble,pierced and carved shaped legs, carved with animal masks and flowers, joined by stretchers. Height cm, diameter cm. The Italian Artist Renzo Colombo (), studied at the Brera Academy of Fine Art. After a period of working in Rome he returned to his home town of Gallarate where he executed busts, medals and funerary monuments, producing his Tasso Morente in , partially inspired by the Napoleon by Vicenza Vela. Having worked in Genoa and Marsiglia, he was appointed artistic director of the Musee Grevin in Paris in and began exhibiting at the Salon. His bust of Napoleon was presented there in .
