For sale is my lovely Gibson USA Les Paul Standard Double Cutaway in Trans Charcoal and as you can see it is a lovely example with the AAA grade flame top. The overall condition is very good throughout with just one scratch on the upper bout worthy of mention (as shown in the pic, although I did use a flash to make it more obvious, and as reflected in the price). It plays and sounds superb and is also all original with no repairs. Comes with the original Gibson hard case. All the hardware and frets are in very good condition with little wear, the neck is nice and straight and has just been restrung and set up. I am open to sensible offers so try me. *Revision: It has recently been brought to my attention by a previous owner that the guitar shop who sold this to me weren’t being very honest when they said “it’s just a scratch” (Greenwoods Music, Liverpool, who charged me £ for it). In fact, it is the remains of a repair from where the neck took a knock. I have now had this confirmed by a local luthier (who has 27 years’ experience and knows what he is talking about). However, he also states that the neck is now completely stable and the “scratch” does not affect playability in any way. It is still a fantastic looking, playing and sounding guitar. Hand built luthier made double cut les Paul with EMG 81, like Gibson, epiphone

A very unique guitar, I have no idea who made it originally and neither did the person I got it from although it is made to a very high quality, it is just worn from playing although I like that aesthetic. If you are wanting a pristine guitar this is not for you, it has a lot of character and shows it. It has a mahogany body and set mahogany neck, with ebony fretboard with a 25.5" scale length. A comfortable Ibanez Gibraltar bridge and what I think are old Schaller locking tuners along with an EMG 81 make this guitar very aggressive with great sustain from the mahogany. The neck is nice and round but not too thick, with the unfinished stain making it very fast to play compared to sticky gloss necks. The main bits of damage and wear can be seen in the photos although the finish is generally worn all over. Ad ID: Delivery Service Consumer Credit

Gibson Les Paul Studio (gold edition) with Gibson Hardcase

Hi there, For sale is a Gibson Les Paul Studio from , built in Nashville, USA. Superb example of a 20 year old Les Paul studio in stunning wine red finish. This is the gold edition which features gold hardware rather than the more common chrome. Overall, the guitar is in fantastic condition for its age with one or two minor dings as shown in the pictures - these are to the rear and near bottom side at the strap button, both are not visible when playing the guitar. Built quality on this is second to none. Made in an era when Gibson took more care about things and this is reflected when compared to the newer versions. These are very desirable examples. Typical Gibson construction: Solid one piece mahogany body with carved maple top and set mahogany neck. As I said before, this is old school Gibson quality so there's None of this modern 'weight relief' garbage - the thing weighs an absolute ton and offers great sustain. The 22 fret mahogany set neck has a lovely rosewood fret board with pearloid inlays as standard on LP's. Frets are nice and level with many years of playing left in them - there no need for any re-fretting any time soon! Pickups are the Gibson hot ceramic set - 496R in the neck, 498T in the bridge. They give much more bite than vintage PAF's or modern Burstbuckers but are versatile for all playing styles. I'd say it's a solid 8/10, especially for its age with no excessive damage. The headstock cap is pristine and not cracked/weathered like is common with LP's as time go's on. Hardware has light tarnishing as to be expected. Original black pickguard is included. Comes with a genuine Gibson custom shop case with purple velvet interior included, these are circa £180 alone. Prices to sell. You'll struggle to get one of these with a case for any less than £600 and modern Studio's of lesser quality are around £900 in stores. I'm open to offers or part ex plus cash my way, let me know what you've got to offer. I'd be interested in Ibanez RG's/Iron label's and Fenders - USA only or anything Jim Root Fender.
