Honest advert..... 13 years old, heavy weight cob mare, full up 15hh and nearly as wide. She is 100% to handle, easy catch, load, farrier, in and out of stable absolutely no vices. She was brought back into work in the summer after having a couple of foals, she was previously in a trekking centre. But I just haven't had time to continue working her and I am selling her from the field. I was hacking her out on her own and she is forward going. She is safe as doesn't rear, Buck, bolt but she does need a competent rider as she looks for confidence from the rider. In company she is fine but I am not selling her as a novice ride. No trial facility. She needs to go to a confident rider who has winter facilities to continue work with her. She will make a super hunter or all rounder and is an amazing weight carrier. Daisy. 8 year old. Passported, vaccinated, wormed. Daisy was driven on all types of roads she then was a broodmare for 2 years. She has now been backed to riding and proving to be a very sweet willing mare. She is forward going, sometimes strong but only ridden in a snaffle. Has been walked around bitless. Daisy is just learning the ropes and trust. She is very genuine. She is fine to load, stable and catch. Can stay barefoot and sound and live in a mixed herd. She will make a wonderful riding horse once finished. All 3 of my horses are currently up for sale. Whichever one is left will be kept to produce further over winter. The only fault I'd say daisy has is she snatches her hooves back when picking them out. This can only improve with time. Daisy will easily carry 14 stone. Project mare for sale. She is up to date with worming, farrier, has had the saddle fitter and had her back checked. Had her teeth done in march this year. Been backed earlier this year and was working away in walk trot and a small amount of canter. Has since been out of work for a few months so sold from field. She is good in traffic although it will need to be reintroduced but it won't take long. Has also jumped a small cross pole. Lives out all year but will stable happily. She is a good doer, will live off fresh air. She's a very loving mare who would excel on a one to one basis. Her bad points are she can be quite nervous around new people and things but quickly comes around with reassurance. I had some issues getting her feet done but with patience from her farrier and a packet of polos she is much better. I have taken it very steady with her, she is a sensitive mare who I think has been driven fast previously. She is forward going and only needs voice commands to go.
