reluctant sale due to no suitable facilities to work with her,chunky heavyweight 15hh mare,17 years old,happy hacker,lovely to ride.enjoys hacking.great in all traffic,good to load,shoe.,doesnt kick/bite/buck/rear **she can be awkward to catch (20 minutes or so sometimes with help of mints!) though i suspect this may be with just me!! fine to tack up,has had a shady past before i bought her,and has been rough handled at some point resulting in trust issues on ground.after a incident with a rug slipping and becoming tangled in her legs i can no longer get a rug near her,or do simple things such as sponge fly spray on her face without her pulling back and galloping off.however my husband can walk straight up to her and catch her no trouble.so i think she connects me to the rug thing..prior to this she had been rugged/handled on the ground by myself fine.i have no facilities at home,no stables/shelters,not even a safe tying up area so finding it difficult to overcome this as when i attempt to she will pull back and gallop off.she needs a experienced handler/rider.tack included.

Honest advert..... 13 years old, heavy weight cob mare, full up 15hh and nearly as wide. She is 100% to handle, easy catch, load, farrier, in and out of stable absolutely no vices. She was brought back into work in the summer after having a couple of foals, she was previously in a trekking centre. But I just haven't had time to continue working her and I am selling her from the field. I was hacking her out on her own and she is forward going. She is safe as doesn't rear, Buck, bolt but she does need a competent rider as she looks for confidence from the rider. In company she is fine but I am not selling her as a novice ride. ~~~Advertising on behalf of a friend~~~ For sale Princess is a 15hh 9 year old thoroughbred she came out of racing in January(has non racing agreement) and since then she has been out jumping, xc schooled& fun rides. She been to 3 jumping competitions proving to be better each time she just needs to go out more and needs encouragement to jump a course. Xc schooling she loved and didn't look at anything real xc machine. She's jumped 1.20 at home and is easily capable of 1m courses with more practise&schooling. She hacks out perfectly in company. Again needs encouragement to hack out alone but has been done, she's only hacked to the top of the road by herself but with more time and routine she would be a good hack as she's not spooky. She's amazing in open fields doesn't pull/take off you have to push her along for a gallop and is so easy to pull up. She can get bargy coming in and out of the stable and trailer. She loads perfectly into a lorry but will take 10 mins to load into a trailer. Apparently needs sedating while clipping. Good with farrier and only has front shoes on. Lovely sweet little mare that just needs to bond and grow with someone. Has been ridden by a 9 year old and was foot perfect. Hasn't hunted but think she would easily hunt and jump the hedges. Very sad sale but due to work commitments I don't have the time to do her justice. She hasn't been hacked properly in a while due to it being dark when I get home from work. Copper is a 15hh Conomara mare. She is up for sale due to no fault of her own. I'm moving away so circumstances have changed. Copper is the sanest horse I've ever met. Since having her I've have never fell of or experienced a bad bone in her body. Copper is 16 years old and acts like a 5 year old. She is still full of energy. I’m looking for a sharer for Pickle my beautiful 15hh 5yr old mare. 1-2 days a week with more riding potentially available for the right person. I want someone who just wants to hack atm but for the right person I would be happy to look at schooling, lessons etc in the future Pickle is brilliant to hack alone or in company.
