14.1hh Black Cob 6yr Old Mare

Peanut is a lovely girl who has come to us from a farm family. She had x2 foals with the previous owners and was backed as a 3yr old via the children (11 and 13) who used to lightly ride her around their farm. She was then a mum to x2 lovely fillies and then came to us as the family didnt want to breed anymore and Peanut was not doing anything. She hadnt seen road traffic till she came to us so we tie her up daily by the side of the main road to help her desensitize herself which is working wonders. We dont have light traffic here, its trains, double deckers, artics and town centre traffic which she is ridden through daily alone and in company. She is now good with drains and white lines, which she obviously hadnt seen previously. She will stand all day to be groomed and bathed and will happily ride in our field amongst our other horses with no problem. She will load onto any trailer or lorry. She can be a problem to catch in a big field but shes not too bad in our 2 acre. She is used to being in an electric paddock and is fine. She is good to tack up but is learning to stand still whilst mounting. At present she is better when someone stands at her head....we like them to stand solid whilst being mounted alone so this will take time. We are certain she will go on to make a fantastic fun cob for all the family but she will need to go to someone who will continue her education especially on the roads purely due to her greeness in this area. We always describe our cobs honestly and anyone who comes to view her will be happy with her i would just prefer to be open so as to not get the wrong person. She is barefoot and trimmed and has been wormed and back checked. She is a great weight carrying cob who will go onto great things. Approx 15hh cob mare. 8 years old. Daisy was previously used for driving, she then had a couple of years off to have 2 foals, then I purchased her to back to riding. I have taken it very steady with her, she is a sensitive mare who I think has been driven fast previously. She is forward going and only needs voice commands to go. She was ridden and backed with loveridge equine services, check out his page on fb. Daisy seems to be suiting calm riders who can relax and show her that calm is a good! She is fine with traffic and has been hacked alone but she needs repetition, to not have her mind blown and steady 1 to 1. She just is anxious to want to get it right sometimes bless her. Project mare for sale. She is up to date with worming, farrier, has had the saddle fitter and had her back checked. Had her teeth done in march this year. Been backed earlier this year and was working away in walk trot and a small amount of canter. Has since been out of work for a few months so sold from field. She is good in traffic although it will need to be reintroduced but it won't take long. Has also jumped a small cross pole. Lives out all year but will stable happily. She is a good doer, will live off fresh air. She's a very loving mare who would excel on a one to one basis. Her bad points are she can be quite nervous around new people and things but quickly comes around with reassurance. I had some issues getting her feet done but with patience from her farrier and a packet of polos she is much better. Daisy. 8 year old. Passported, vaccinated, wormed. Daisy was driven on all types of roads she then was a broodmare for 2 years. She has now been backed to riding and proving to be a very sweet willing mare. She is forward going, sometimes strong but only ridden in a snaffle. Has been walked around bitless. Daisy is just learning the ropes and trust. She is very genuine. She is fine to load, stable and catch. Can stay barefoot and sound and live in a mixed herd. She will make a wonderful riding horse once finished. All 3 of my horses are currently up for sale. Whichever one is left will be kept to produce further over winter. The only fault I'd say daisy has is she snatches her hooves back when picking them out. This can only improve with time. Daisy will easily carry 14 stone.
