15hh Traditional Cob Mare in Chepstow

Full up 15hh bay mare, 13 years old. She is as wide as she is tall and is a definite weight carrier. Ruby was brought back into work in the summer after having a foal but I have not had the time to continue and she is being wasted in the field. She's all clipped and ready to go to someone who either has winter facilities or time to spend to put some miles on the clock with her. I am selling her from the field as I have no trial facilities. I have videos of her riding which I am happy to send. She looks at things out hacking but never rears, bucks or bolts, she is forward going and just needs some encouragement to go past new things. She is 100% to handle on the ground, easy to catch, good to travel, farrier (currently barefoot), will happily stand and be groomed all day. No ailments and a really genuine sort. She is passported and microchipped, transport can be arranged at buyers cost. This is a 100% honest advert, she needs a competent rider to put a bit more work into her and she will be a super mare.

Very Heavy Traditional Cob Gelding in Chepstow

Super heavyweight cob gelding rising 4 years old, will mature a very chunky 13.2hh. he is excellent to do in all ways, up to date with farrier & worming. No blemishes, sarcoids, lumps or bumps. Excellent in and out of stable and viceless. The hair on this pony is unreal and he is one of the heaviest ponies I have seen. Passported and microchipped. He is now ready to start his education but he is so quiet I can't see him taking much to get going. Fantastic summer project for someone who I think will have a bombproof cob in no time. She has now been backed to riding and proving to be a very sweet willing mare. She is forward going, sometimes strong but only ridden in a snaffle. Has been walked around bitless. Daisy is just learning the ropes and trust. She is very genuine. She is fine to load, stable and catch. Can stay barefoot and sound and live in a mixed herd. She will make a wonderful riding horse once finished. All 3 of my horses are currently up for sale. Whichever one is left will be kept to produce further over winter. The only fault I'd say daisy has is she snatches her hooves back when picking them out. This can only improve with time. Daisy will easily carry 14 stone. 15hh piebald cob mare 8yrs old very sweet mare, was previously used as a brood mare was broken to ride this summer. very responsive. is quite sensitive off the leg and to touch but doesnt do anything horrible, she just needs someone to spend time with her to help desensitize her. was bought for my brother who unfortunately finds her too sensitive and i dont have the time to spend with her as i have my own youngster that im bringing on. this mare deserves a very good home as there is not a nasty bone in her ad i suspect that somewhere along the line she has been badly treated. would make a good riding pony or brood mare. i am selling her from the field hence the price.

Lucy is a beautiful big girl. Used as a broodmare until i got her. Ive owned Lucy for over a year now and shes came so far. She now comes when called, needs a scoop to catch her but she comes right upto you, picks up her front feet but still nervous about her back legs and pulls them away. Good to load and cheap to keep. Project mare for sale. She is up to date with worming, farrier, has had the saddle fitter and had her back checked. Had her teeth done in march this year. Been backed earlier this year and was working away in walk trot and a small amount of canter. Has since been out of work for a few months so sold from field. She is good in traffic although it will need to be reintroduced but it won't take long. Has also jumped a small cross pole. Lives out all year but will stable happily. She is a good doer, will live off fresh air. She's a very loving mare who would excel on a one to one basis.
