Very sad sale of my Welsh D gelding. I bought him last year to back and bring on, but lack of time and consistancy means he has been left ong than anticipated and he is just a field ornament. He has just turned 5. He works fab on the lunge and has a fantastic jump. He has had tack on and someone on his back for not for a few months, so will need to be restarted. He has become a bit stubborn to catch, so needs a very patient experienced home. FOR SALE- 7yrs, 14.3hh, Welsh sec D x, skewbald gelding. Is broken, but hasn't been ridden for a couple of months due to being diagnosed with stomach ulcers-(which are now virtually gone). Show name: Saltre Wrapped in Red Ribbon, Stable name: Leo Leo is a great example of a Welsh B with flashy paces and real presence. He was backed at 3 and ridden lightly with young jockeys over the last 18 months, although has been turned away for the past 5 months as i have no jockey for him. He was bought as a lead rein pony for my young children but i wouldn't consider him suitable for that particular job as he has bags of character and can be strong so i believe he would be more suitable as a second pony for a confident jockey, that can work with him as he is still very green.
