FOR SALE- 7yrs, 14.3hh, Welsh sec D x, skewbald gelding. Is broken, but hasn't been ridden for a couple of months due to being diagnosed with stomach ulcers-(which are now virtually gone). Very sad sale of my Welsh D gelding. I bought him last year to back and bring on, but lack of time and consistancy means he has been left ong than anticipated and he is just a field ornament. He has just turned 5. He works fab on the lunge and has a fantastic jump. He has had tack on and someone on his back for not for a few months, so will need to be restarted. He has become a bit stubborn to catch, so needs a very patient experienced home. I have a 3 year old Welsh Cob (section D) for sale through no fault of his own but I don't have the time this boy deserves. He is one of the most loving youngsters I have ever come across, he will follow you round the field all day, loves to be groomed and fussed and will make anyone a lovely pet. Spencer will be ready to start his education soon eg lunging but still has a lot of growing and filling out to do. The only fault with this pony is the farrier, I can pick up all 4 of his feet but when the farrier comes he gets very distressed but with time and patience he has let the farrier trim his feet, he just needs to trust the farrier as I think he has had a bad experience.
