Lovely example of this Vintage Milk/Cream Jug & Sugar Bowl from Gibson. Gilt decoration of cupids on One side and Wedding bells on the other side on pale cream/white background. Heavily gilt relief borders, rims, and handle. Gilding is in Good condition, with some crackle-glaze on both but no chips or cracks. Also, there is an area of repair, situated on the outer rim of the lid. It is approximately 2cms long and partially concealed by the sturdy rubber seal. The area of repair is completely concealed when the lid, (which fits very securely) is on the jar and is protected by the rubber seal.
