TAUNTON VALE Scales The scales are in pretty good condition, and have just been repainted. They and are FULLY FUNCTIONAL. They are unusual, quite rare and very eye catching. They have always been a talking point when new guests arrive in my home for the first time. The scales are approximately 40 years old. We collected lots of Taunton Vale around the time that we married, and in June we celebrated our Ruby wedding anniversary. Each member of my family collected a different pattern in the collection. I think that this pretty blue one may have been called blue daisy. (They did a yellow one too). As you can see, the metal is lovely and shiny (after just one clean in ages), but there are a just a few very small dark spots on the metal. (A bit of elbow grease may remove most of these). Weights:- 1 lb 8 oz 4 oz 2 oz 1 oz ½ oz Reason for selling is that we would like to downsize. Items such as kitchen utensils, tea towels, oven gloves, scissors etc. Condition This utensil holder is very old but in fairly good condition for its age.
