This design was probably produced by Thomas Rathbone & Co. between and , so it is surprising that so much has survived. Condition is remarkably good, with most blemishes being original from the kiln firing. There are 28 items in total, including the two vegetable dish lids. Dimensions are: - 5 x Dinner Plates of 10" diam 2 x Salad Plates of 9 1/8" diam 12 x Side plates of 7 7/8" diam 1 x Oval Serving Dish of " x x Oval Serving Dishes of " x x Vegetable Dishes of " max diam x 5" high 2 x Sauce boats I cannot see any more of this pattern on offer either in the UK or US, so I do not know of any pattern name. Grindley 'Crown of the Year' Part Dinner & Coffe Set, 60 pcs

This is a very attractive design in bone china by Grindley potteries, which was closed in . The main theme is blue with a subtle green, blue and orange design of grasses. There are a total of 61 pieces including the spare tureen lid, for which there is no base. The condition of nearly all the items is excellent, with very few cutlery marks on the plates, most of which can only be seen at an acute angle to the light. Can't find this pattern anywhere else at present. Victorian dining chairs. Late 's. Set of four.

Here I have four antique Victorian, original chairs. They have been used in our farmhouse. One chair has been broken at some point in its life, has a glued leg and two angle brackets under the seat, see (photo). This chair is rickety and if not being used for show will need some attention. The other three are solid. These are used chairs and the seats on two are starting to fray (see photo). Otherwise, considering their age they are in pretty good condition. Odd marks, but no deep scratches or dents. These are as seen in the photo's I have not polished them up for sale or anything. They are what they are, many thanks for looking.
