Honest ad here on behalf of a friend. Roo is a lovely boy with a sweet personality and moves beautifully loved a fuss when you get to know him. However he is very nervous and needs a lot of time spending with him to get to know you, he has been ridden and is good with farm traffic but would need an experienced rider to bring back to this stage. He benefits best from one to one attention. He is very nervous of new people but is a lot calmer once he knows you. sad sale as it's chap has so much potential in the right hands. He is a real character and fun horse. Loves fun and beach rides. Will hack over mountains all day. Has a ver big bold just and has never refused a fence and needs more education to further his talent. He is nicely schooled and always tried his best. He is a safe horse but not a novice ride as he can be a little sharp at times if he doesn't understand what u ask. Loves hacking alone or in company and will open gates if u wish. Very responsive to the leg and voice and u will not need to kick or shout. Such an amazing animal with so much to give. A real pocket rocket and when u get that conection and trust he will do anything to please. Experience quiet riders only that won't ask to much to soon. After a good ride my children climb on top and warm him down with ease they will lead him and groom him all day.

12'2 black Dartmoor pony gelding. Freddie a lovely little pony, he is always first over in the field to greet you he loves a fuss and carrots! He currently lives out with mares and geldings but could also live in. He is very easy to do (load, trim, brush, pick feet out etc), not rugged and is barefoot, laid back manner. Never kicked, bucked or bitten (but can become nippy when given too many treats!) I have sat on Freddie numerous times, in the yard, field and around the lanes but am far to big to expect him to do anything, friends have ridden him around the lanes and he was very good however has a tendency to pick from the hedge! Freddie has been ridden by small children and adults although they have now lost interest and he is left without a rider. He goes on regular walks around the lanes, meeting cars, bikes, tractors etc but nothing seems to faze him. I feel Freddie would make a great childs/small adults pony for someone. Please take note that he will need extra work off the lead rein to stop the hedge snacking. I am looking for around £450 open to offers as home more important than price. Its important I find him a home where he gets the love and attention he needs. Will come with saddle and bridle.
