Due to personal circumstances im selling my 15hh cob x hackney gelding. Bobby is 9 years old and is ride or drive, a lovely horse. he has been out of work for the past year until just recently when he has been brought back into work and as such is in need of some work and being sold as a project. he is used to heavy traffic, good with farrier and has just been wormed. currently barefoot and just had his feet trimed. My sister was diagnosed with terminal cancer last year and passed away and since i have been suffering with anxiety that means i cannot ride. he is being sold from the field (i say this even though he has started to be worked again as i want to be clear he does need work), viewing and vetting welcome. he is a project as he will need work to get him back up to his full potential and he is being wasted with me. he needs a confident and experienced rider as he can be strong, not a novice ride. he can pop a jump although i have never jumped him. has been ridden by a confident novice when he was in work. Whiskey-Man, coloured gelding. It is a heart breaking decision but have to find a new home for my boy as I am struggling to find time for him which is sad as he has so much potential. He stands 13.3hh to make 14.2hh+, is microchipped, wormed, passported, vaccs. Was broken to drive as a 2 year old, driven round local villages, which he took to and loved, then turned away. Backed and broken to ride recently, doing light hacking in walk and trot. He passes anything including all traffic (lorries, buses, etc...). Has been hacked out in high winds, with or without company and been desensitized to various objects where he's very good, just stands. Can be strong when ridden but will probably get better when worked more. Only ever done hacking as is unsure riding in my field. He's brilliant to lead, lunge, long rein, bath, farrier, groom. Used to dogs, children, other horses, one of the quietest horses I know for his age. Very green so needs experienced person to carry on his training. Sold from field. More pics available.
