Looking for a loving home. 22 years old, ideal hacking pony for novice but with an experienced handler as he likes his grass. Good with farrier, vets and to date no ailments including laminitis. Will live in or out and could be a companion but light work would suit him better. As he's long backed (5.6 rugs) smallish adult could ride. An adorable pony who deserves a great home.all tack and rugs go with him.

12'2 black Dartmoor pony gelding. Freddie a lovely little pony, he is always first over in the field to greet you he loves a fuss and carrots! He currently lives out with mares and geldings but could also live in. He is very easy to do (load, trim, brush, pick feet out etc), not rugged and is barefoot, laid back manner. Never kicked, bucked or bitten (but can become nippy when given too many treats!) I have sat on Freddie numerous times, in the yard, field and around the lanes but am far to big to expect him to do anything, friends have ridden him around the lanes and he was very good however has a tendency to pick from the hedge! Freddie has been ridden by small children and adults although they have now lost interest and he is left without a rider. He goes on regular walks around the lanes, meeting cars, bikes, tractors etc but nothing seems to faze him. I feel Freddie would make a great childs/small adults pony for someone. Please take note that he will need extra work off the lead rein to stop the hedge snacking. I am looking for around £450 open to offers as home more important than price. Its important I find him a home where he gets the love and attention he needs. Will come with saddle and bridle.

Aurora is a lovely pony who has been a member of our family for around 7 years. She was ridden quite a lot by my children approximately 3-4 years ago but not since then. I would say it would be best to train her from the beginning. She is very sweet and puppy like. Likes to follow you around. She is easy to catch and halter - usually extremely tranquil. I have laid down and sunbathed with her - leaning on her and then picked out her feet whilst she continues to enjoy the sunbathe and star treatment! As we will be leaving our smallholding there will be no where for her to live. This is a very regrettable sale, of a lovely pony who has been like a member of our family. A very good home is required. My barefoot farrier considers her to be the perfect pony for say a confident 12 year old wanting the priceless experience of training a pony - as I did as a child.

I am looking for a home for our 13hh 16yo Dartmoor pony, ideally I'd like him to go as a companion only altho he can be ridden but is NOT by any means a child's pony at all! He's very sensitive to balance and is strong. One of my friends has ridden him on the odd occasions but she is a small adult and a very quiet rider and she has had no problems with him at all. He's good to catch, handled by children good to groom with farrier stables or lives out happily on own or with company, doesn't mind being left on own while u go for a ride. He has the most loving nature loves a fuss and kisses and cuddles. Lives on fresh air never had laminitis. He's not getting any attention with us due to my other 2 and a 10 month old baby. Enjoys playing games over tarpaulin and cones etc. Excellent to catch, handle, shoe and box and a great companion as doesn't mind being left on his own for a while. Would be a good hunting or working hunter pony with a little work. Has sweet itch which is manageable with attention and care - all the photos taken in summer.
