Lovely Gentleman of a Horse

Laddie is a full up, 15.3 bay gelding. His is 8 years old and a true gentleman of a horse with lovely stable manners who enjoys a fuss. Currently used in Willowbrook Riding Centre for lessons and hacking. A good all rounder and confidence giver on the flat and jumping. Would suit someone wanting to improve themselves as will look after the rider over smaller fences, but then can jump 3 ft (that we have tried) with ease. He can hack out alone or in company and is good in most traffic. Can be slightly hesitant with large vehicles, but nothing nasty just needs to see a bit more. Good to catch, bath, shoe e.t.c. 12.3hh Needs to be gone by next week**** Beautiful 21 year old palamino, companion or ridden project. I brought him a year and a half ago to bring back on and was doing that successfully until I had to move home several miles away so didn't have the time to carry on riding him. He hasn't been ridden for about four months. I have hacked him out and jumped him lightly in the school and it felt like riding a much younger pony, I would like him to go to a home to either keep company or being ridden lightly ei hacking and local shows as he's not getting any younger. When I first brought him on he had issues with a few bronks as you get on but aslong as he realises your not going anywhere he carries on as normal. He's unshod as he has pretty solid hooves, hard fed and rugged during winter. Can be stabled but prefers to be out. Will come with some tack and rugs. Really sad to see him go as he's such a darling pony but loss of grazing forces sale must be gone as soon as possible no time wasters NO NOVICES home way more important than price as this chap deserves it. 16hh Gentleman horse for sale

16hh, 16 year old riding horse for sale. Chester is a super gentleman, currently used as a hacking horse and we are looking for a similar home for him with somebody whom loves to spend time with their horse out in the countryside. He has had a varied career including western show horse, something I've never attempted but he has the skills! He can also jump but this is not something I've done a lot of with him. He has EXCEPTIONAL ground manners. He is calm, gentle and loves a fuss. Great to load, I have travelled him in both a trailer and horsebox by himself. Great to shoe and clip. A real confidence giver when out hacking. The type that is hard to find. Even if others are misbehaving he does not pay attention, isn't spooky. No issues with heavy farm traffic either. Quite large movement, lovely paces. Fine with dogs although has shown anxiety with packs of hounds so I do not want Chester to go to anyone whom would like a horse to hunt with as I think it would be an unrealistic expectation for him. Currently just shod on fronts as strong hind feet. Fully sound/up-to-date with all vaccinations. Tack available by separate negotiation. Lovely teenages competiton horse or family horse in

fab fun loving horse would suite a confident teenager She loves her jumping can be very forward and keen but is SAFE just knows her job when it comes to jumping. She hacks alone and in company prefers to be in front but will go behind all upto date with jabs teeth wormed and shoes knowledgable home needed for this fab horse she has previously been evented and done BE with old owner I have done little jumping and shows and manly hacked her she is good with children my 7 year old can do young handles with her £ with tack near Okehamption

5* home wanted. This horse has a heart of gold. He comes when called in the field, has impeccable ground manners & loves attention. He is fab to box, shoe, clip, groom, catch, lead etc. He is the horse who will play with a horse ball, or bucket. Failing that he'll play with toggles on your coat or hoody. He oozes with personality. When ridden he is responsive to the voice & leg & is soft mouthed. He will hack out alone or in company. He can jog a little on bridleways, but would never be rude enough to bolt. When schooling he can work in an outline & will try his best at jumping. The bigger the jump, the more he will pick his feet up! He has previously hunted a season & whilst good with the hounds & when standing, on the move he would want to be at the front & would often go sideways. He is an ex racer, thoroughbred & can spook at things & get excited. He has not bucked or reared - when things aren't going his way & he's a bit anxious he'll grind his teeth. If you are a novice or inexperienced rider, please do not contact me as he will not be right for you. Stemming from his (unknown) past, he does not have the cleanest legs & there are scars & some lumps & bumps. He is fully vaccinated, teeth & back also done earlier this year.
