16hh Gentleman horse for sale

16hh, 16 year old riding horse for sale. Chester is a super gentleman, currently used as a hacking horse and we are looking for a similar home for him with somebody whom loves to spend time with their horse out in the countryside. He has had a varied career including western show horse, something I've never attempted but he has the skills! He can also jump but this is not something I've done a lot of with him. He has EXCEPTIONAL ground manners. He is calm, gentle and loves a fuss. Great to load, I have travelled him in both a trailer and horsebox by himself. Great to shoe and clip. A real confidence giver when out hacking. The type that is hard to find. Even if others are misbehaving he does not pay attention, isn't spooky. No issues with heavy farm traffic either. Quite large movement, lovely paces. Fine with dogs although has shown anxiety with packs of hounds so I do not want Chester to go to anyone whom would like a horse to hunt with as I think it would be an unrealistic expectation for him. Currently just shod on fronts as strong hind feet. Fully sound/up-to-date with all vaccinations. Tack available by separate negotiation. Lovely Gentleman of a Horse

Laddie is a full up, 15.3 bay gelding. His is 8 years old and a true gentleman of a horse with lovely stable manners who enjoys a fuss. Currently used in Willowbrook Riding Centre for lessons and hacking. A good all rounder and confidence giver on the flat and jumping. Would suit someone wanting to improve themselves as will look after the rider over smaller fences, but then can jump 3 ft (that we have tried) with ease. He can hack out alone or in company and is good in most traffic. Can be slightly hesitant with large vehicles, but nothing nasty just needs to see a bit more. Good to catch, bath, shoe e.t.c. Lovely gentleman, loss of grazing!!! quick sale needed!

Needs to be gone by next week**** Beautiful 21 year old palamino, companion or ridden project. I brought him a year and a half ago to bring back on and was doing that successfully until I had to move home several miles away so didn't have the time to carry on riding him. He hasn't been ridden for about four months. I have hacked him out and jumped him lightly in the school and it felt like riding a much younger pony, I would like him to go to a home to either keep company or being ridden lightly ei hacking and local shows as he's not getting any younger. When I first brought him on he had issues with a few bronks as you get on but aslong as he realises your not going anywhere he carries on as normal. He's unshod as he has pretty solid hooves, hard fed and rugged during winter. Can be stabled but prefers to be out. Will come with some tack and rugs. Really sad to see him go as he's such a darling pony but loss of grazing forces sale must be gone as soon as possible no time wasters NO NOVICES home way more important than price as this chap deserves it. NOW REDUCED IN PRICE FOR A QUICK SALE, A VERY NICE MATCHING PAIR OF LATE VICTORIAN, WATERER AND SONS OF CHERTSEY, GENTLEMAN'S MAHOGANY LIBRARY OR ARMCHAIRS WITH SOUND FRAMES. THEY OBVIOUSLY NEED SOME RESTORATION WORK AS THE UPHOLSTERY WILL NEED TO BE COMPLETELY RENEWED BUT I BELIEVE THAT THEY WILL MAKE AN EXCELLENT AND RELATIVELY EASY WINTER PROJECT FOR SOMEONE. Here we have a matching pair of Victorian solid mahogany framed gentleman's library or armchairs. They were made by the respected firm of Waterer and Sons of Chertsey in around and each frame has the maker's name stamped on the underside. They have been in dry storage for almost 50 years and the upholstery is obviously in a very scruffy condition. However, they would make a very nice project for anyone who is into antique furniture restoration and are now up for sale at just £130. Actually I would say that anyone who enjoys furniture restoration as a hobby will find these relatively simple to tackle and I have listed all the relevant points as I see them below. The chairs were originally covered in burgundy button-backed leather. This has been removed and discarded from one and partly removed from the second. They could of course be recovered in either leather or cloth. Most of the original horse-hair stuffing and lining material is still present, plus the webbing and all springs look very good. The castors are all there but there is some wear to the bores of the brass plates so the chairs sit lower than they should. The ceramic wheels look good. The mahogany frames look very good to me. Obviously they will need some refinishing work but I can't see any damage or sign of worm. The chairs' approx. measurements in inches are 35 high x 36 deep x 24 wide. The seat is about 24 deep x 19 wide and the seat height is around 15 at the front and 13 at the rear. Please email me if you would like to view the chairs.
