16hh Gentleman horse for sale

16hh, 16 year old riding horse for sale. Chester is a super gentleman, currently used as a hacking horse and we are looking for a similar home for him with somebody whom loves to spend time with their horse out in the countryside. He has had a varied career including western show horse, something I've never attempted but he has the skills! He can also jump but this is not something I've done a lot of with him. He has EXCEPTIONAL ground manners. He is calm, gentle and loves a fuss. Great to load, I have travelled him in both a trailer and horsebox by himself. Great to shoe and clip. A real confidence giver when out hacking. The type that is hard to find. Even if others are misbehaving he does not pay attention, isn't spooky. No issues with heavy farm traffic either. Quite large movement, lovely paces. Fine with dogs although has shown anxiety with packs of hounds so I do not want Chester to go to anyone whom would like a horse to hunt with as I think it would be an unrealistic expectation for him. Currently just shod on fronts as strong hind feet. Fully sound/up-to-date with all vaccinations. Tack available by separate negotiation. 16hh Irish Sports Horse for Sale in Brixham

I am looking for a new home for my 5 year (6 in Jan) 16hh ISH, dark bay. He is a safe hack which is what I have only used him for, he hacks out both alone and in company, is very good in heavy traffic of all kinds and good in open spaces, he is not sharp and doesn't hot up. Not spooky, may look at something new but a bit of leg and he rides on past. He is good to catch - comes to the gate, groom, tack up and stands at the mounting block, good with farrier and vet, he is good in his stable and happy to live in or out. His previous owner jumped him and he travelled to me in a trailer. He is however strong to lead and frequently tries to bite me - this is why I am looking to sell him as I feel he needs a more confident, experienced person to manage him on the ground as he knows he can get the better of me and I have lost confidence (I have asthma and struggle when trying to control him when being lead).... so find myself riding him less therefore I've made the decision to look for an older horse with a more laid back temperament. 16hh 6 year old TB Gelding Horse for Sale(ROR Unraced)

Lovely project TB for sale, based in Arley/Cheshire. *Experienced Home wanted* 16hh, 6 years old, Bay, Gelding, registered with Weatherby's as 'McCool Runnings' otherwise known as 'Mac' at home. Sire: Cockney Rebel Dam: Dances with Angels. Fully up to date with Vacs, dentist, physio etc (nothing noted) and passed 2 stage vetting in Feb when I bought him which you are welcome to view. Loads and travels fine (once he finds his feet), and perfect with the farrier, he can be a little sensitive with his ears but not nasty, and I haven't clipped him but he was fully clipped when I bought him so assume no issues. He is fine to bath, goes in the hot wash/solarium and groom etc. Sadly for sale as I do not have enough time to do this boy justice and continue is education, he is not suitable for novices due to his age, breed and background. He trained to race but was too slow so never raced but is registered ROR, I bought Mac in Feb as a project to bring on whilst my other competition horse is out of action, unfortunately due to a change in work commitments I am no longer able to dedicate the time to him and I am struggling during the week. He is a lovely boy, but he needs stimulation and consistent repetitive work and therefore not suitable for just anyone - he can be spooky and can get upset in busy/loud environments but has already come on leaps and bounds with me as an amateur, with consistent works and lots of it he will excel massively. I have taken him to camp/clinics and out training around somerford/kelsall and he has behaved impeccably, drops/ditches/water all fine etc. Was professionally schooled for 7 weeks over summer with Andrew Downes, and works in a lovely soft outline but but is still a baby and it is not perfect but he is ridden in a Nathe rubber snaffle for everything and is not strong in the slightest and therefore requires someone willing to put more work into him - this is reflected in his price and I am of course open to sensible offers and happy to discuss him in full, as I cannot stress enough that I want the best for this boy - therefore home very much more important then price. Tinks is a beautiful 16hh bay ex hurdler who has just turned 8 years old. She finished racing last year and had a limited amount of time where she was hacked out in company and took part in fun rides. Excellent in the school, I need to be able to hack her out on her own due to where I live but at the moment she doesn't have the confidence to do so. I am looking for a loving home for her where she will be used to her full potential and someone will have the time and patience to give her the confidence to make progress.
