Small older dog wanted for retired gentleman

I'm looking for a small older dog for my dad. He's retired but still active and he'd like a little dog to join him on walks and holidays. He hasn't any other pets but because both my sister and myself have dogs it must be dog friendly. Beautiful but grumpy older gentleman

Hi everyone, This is a very honest advert.This is Vader he is a typical grumpy senior Male rabbit.He came to me as a rescue and is 7yrs Old this coming July/August time. He is fine with female rabbits-as he has been living with a neutered female,who is also a rescue,but found a new home to be company with another boy,but due to him not liking other males the lady couldn’t take Vader.He was not handled much before he came to me(back last August) but since then he has come on nicely,my kids can handle him and stroke him,he will let you hold him and have cuddles but prefers sitting next to you on the sofa and watching tv,eating and having strokes. He is a gorgeous boy and is more black in the winter and when the spring time starts he has a lovely speckled brown added to him. I am now looking for a home for him as I believe with the right person he can live out the rest of his years and give someone some fantastic memories. 16hh Gentleman horse for sale

16hh, 16 year old riding horse for sale. Chester is a super gentleman, currently used as a hacking horse and we are looking for a similar home for him with somebody whom loves to spend time with their horse out in the countryside. He has had a varied career including western show horse, something I've never attempted but he has the skills! He can also jump but this is not something I've done a lot of with him. He has EXCEPTIONAL ground manners. He is calm, gentle and loves a fuss. Great to load, I have travelled him in both a trailer and horsebox by himself. Great to shoe and clip. A real confidence giver when out hacking. The type that is hard to find. Even if others are misbehaving he does not pay attention, isn't spooky. No issues with heavy farm traffic either. Quite large movement, lovely paces. Fine with dogs although has shown anxiety with packs of hounds so I do not want Chester to go to anyone whom would like a horse to hunt with as I think it would be an unrealistic expectation for him. Currently just shod on fronts as strong hind feet. Fully sound/up-to-date with all vaccinations. Tack available by separate negotiation. Wanted - safe older pony for grandchildren

Wanted - an older pony (over 12 years would be fine) approx 9hh - 11hh - preferably a gelding but would consider an easy going mare. Colouring and looks are unimportant - it's all about the temperament. Barefoot and able to live out (we have a field shelter) and own the paddock and field attached to our home. Forever home offered to the right pony. The pony would need to be easily handled by young children (aged 3-8) they want to be able to groom it including washing and picking hooves - ride it very occasionally (approx once a fortnight when they come to stay) on our local quiet bridle paths - they would be on a lead rein but on our paddock the 8 year old (who is extremely slight - under 3 stone - and small for her age) would like to be able to just walk and trot freely. the pony would need to be able to carry up to 5 stone for hacking so that the girls could continue to ride as they grow.We already have a 12hh section b gelding who is a little sharp so they can't ride him off the lead rein or groom him without very close supervision - he's a little spooky but although he wasn't as advertised he has a life long home with us - I just want to be absolutely sure that the next little one is not spooky ! We also do a lot of groundwork and agility which the children would like to be able to do with a smaller calmer pony. So the home that we are offering would involve occasional riding - lots of grooming as I love it ! Groundwork / agility and going for walks along the lanes and bridle paths with or without the grandchildren. The pony needs to be passported - vaccinated - up to date with feet and teeth and no laminitis / sweet itch etc We aren't in a rush for our next pony so wil happily just wait as long as it takes to find him / her:-) The photo is of our 12hh boy Read More
