I am selling my beloved Outwell Bear Lake 4 man tent. It is worth checking them out on YouTube as it truly is the Rolls Royce of tents. The polycotton keeps you cooler in hot weather and warmer in cold weather with no condensation or flapping. The tent has great living space and lots of handy pockets and ties for lighting etc. It has versatile access arrangements with a door at the front and both sides. There is no damage to any of the poles, zips or guy ropes. One of the toggles in the bedroom is coming away but this has no detrimental effect on usage. The tent has always been packed away dry and there is no mould on the tent. It has never leaked and was last used in May this year. The only reason I'm selling is because I've bought an air tent, Outwell again and polycotton, as I don't think I would camp in anything else after my Bear Lake. This has been an excellent family tent which has been used 7 times. We are selling as we are downsizing. The tent is in very good condition, no holes or tears and all the poles are in working order. The tent is single skin with a sewn in groundsheet, except for the front porch which has its own separate groundsheet. We are including a footprint which helps to protect the groundsheet from holes and tears and helps to keep it clean, especially in wet conditions. This is classed as an 8 berth tent so there has been plenty of room to sleep the 5 of us. There are 3 sleeping pods and one central area high enough to stand up in, even if you are over 6 feet. The sleeping pods are their own contained unit which are attached to the main tent. Each can be removed to create extra space depending on the number of people using the tent. Two of the pods are larger than the other one. The larger pods take a double airbed quite easily. If you want to use the back door as an entrance/exit then the smaller pod has to be removed. We have used it for a family of 5 with just the large bedroom and 1 of the small ones to give even more storage space for bikes, wardrobe etc. But can easily and comfortably sleep 6 to 8 It's a pole and sleeve tunnel tent, very easy to erect, with sewn in groundsheet. This is a Vango 800 Tigris - 8 man tent with the footprint groundsheet and and Vango Tunnel Extension awning. It has been used 4 times for holidays to the South of France but is still in good condition. It comprises one large bedroom that can be subdivided into two (sleeps 4 in total or large double) plus two separate bedrooms sleeping 1-2 each. The central area between bedrooms is about 3m x 3m, large enough for table and chairs if eating indoors and has a door and fly screen either side. The Tunnel Extension can be fitted to either side and provides extra storage space. The main tent weighs about 25kg with the tunnel extension a further 10kg. It uses fibreglass multisection poles and I have included a spare section. There are plenty of pegs, many unused, a set of repair patches and spare guy ropes and elastics for peg loops. There is some minor damage to a seam in one of the bedroom compartments and evidence of use on the outside but otherwise the overall condition is very good. Khyam Freelander, three man tent, including the optional groundsheet. Has the rapidex pole system, the poles are integrated with the tent and the whole lot just opens out like an umbrella. It only takes a few minutes to pitch and strike, and that's doing it on your own. The Freelander has a high living area and low bedroom, giving you plenty of room to move around in the day and keeping you warm at night. It's stated as a three man, but we've had five sleeping in it easily by using the living area. The bad bits: A tiny hole in the roof, it is under the vent piece, so isn't exposed to the elements and doesn't let water in. It could easily be patched, if you wanted to. Plus you can stand up in all areas of the tent. It. I messaged in two bags. One for tent plus pole bag. There has been a repair - approx 4in x 4in on the front door.
