Fully working and waterproof there is a bit of mildew on the tent (as per photos) though it has always been put away dry and it does not affect its performance. This was waterproofed with Nikwax Tent and Gear Solar and waterproof spray within the last 2 months. Great spacious tent to get into camping. Also included is a Gelert Horizon 6/8 porch (stock photo from Amazon) which fits to the front of the tent when you want an enclosed awning - perfect for when the weather isn't the best. Khyam Freelander, three man tent, including the optional groundsheet. Has the rapidex pole system, the poles are integrated with the tent and the whole lot just opens out like an umbrella. It only takes a few minutes to pitch and strike, and that's doing it on your own. The Freelander has a high living area and low bedroom, giving you plenty of room to move around in the day and keeping you warm at night. It's stated as a three man, but we've had five sleeping in it easily by using the living area. The bad bits: A tiny hole in the roof, it is under the vent piece, so isn't exposed to the elements and doesn't let water in. It could easily be patched, if you wanted to. Outwell Bear Lake 4 Polycotton tent with footprint, zipped in groundsheet and carpet

I am selling my beloved Outwell Bear Lake 4 man tent. It is worth checking them out on YouTube as it truly is the Rolls Royce of tents. The polycotton keeps you cooler in hot weather and warmer in cold weather with no condensation or flapping. The tent has great living space and lots of handy pockets and ties for lighting etc. It has versatile access arrangements with a door at the front and both sides. There is no damage to any of the poles, zips or guy ropes. One of the toggles in the bedroom is coming away but this has no detrimental effect on usage. The tent has always been packed away dry and there is no mould on the tent. It has never leaked and was last used in May this year. The only reason I'm selling is because I've bought an air tent, Outwell again and polycotton, as I don't think I would camp in anything else after my Bear Lake. Included in sale 1 "Pod" unit with quick assembly poles that form an "X" over top of "Pod" 1 Groundsheet, 1 bedroom unit with sewn in groundsheet, guy ropes, storage bag (some holes in bag). NOTE: I was unable to pitch this tent correctly as it seems to require some further poles on the sides, was only able to pitch loosely with 4 guy ropes (as pictured), there was some flexing of the tent, I assume because only part pitched. The main canvas has several small repairs (largest pictured), there are some other tiny repairs (approx 1cm patches). In general it looks OK and usable, I understand that this tent system can be expanded & zipped together with other pods. Lovely comfy family tent. We had no trouble putting it up fairly quickly with two of us Good strong solid poles, never budged in poor weather. groundsheet is attached so no draughty gaps. Footprint groundsheet was purchased seperatly and keeps bottom of tent clean. Has a handy side annex for storage. Haven't used for a couple of years after we bought a caravan but we kept as a standby as we'd loved using it. Was packed away dry and looks in good clean condition (see pics).
