Home Wanted for Molly an older cat (13) and deaf

Molly is a loving older cat (13) and completely deaf. Molly didn’t have a good start in life and was a victim of a bad cruelty case where the RSPCA stepped in. Her elderly owner has given her a lot of love over the years she has had her but, sadly she is unable to give her the attention that is needed due to suffering from dementia and ill health. I have been looking after Molly for the past 6 months and she has put on weight and gives me so much love, she is adorable. I wish I could keep her but this is no longer an option for me. I have 3 cats of my own and now that Molly has all paws under the table she won’t let them in to eat, drink or sleep. Molly needs to be the only animal in any household where she would be the perfect pet especially for an older person. Molly is good with children and adults but prefers a quieter life these days. I have contacted over 90 animal charities to get her rehomed without success due to her age and deafness, most have advised to have her put down, this I cannot do without trying everywhere to find that special final home for her. Affectionate female cat looking for a new forever house with lots of love to share. Tallica (former rescue) is around 7 y/o & needs to be rehomed to a house with access to garden area. The reason for this advert, unfortunately after moving from a house to a flat Tallica has not settled with the surrounding noise of neighbours and the lack of access to the outside but we have tried for a year to help with little improvement. Tallica (tallie) loves to run about daft with her toys and will entertain for hours and then cuddle up next to you, great companion to any cat lover. Meet my cat Callie, she is 7 years old this month and has been spayed. I am wanting to rehome her through no fault of her own as she has become a bit scared of my 15 month old dog... I've given them chance for a year but she really is not happy as he is boisterous and she just wants to hide away from him. I know it must be because of my dog as he was in kennels after I got back off holiday and she was a different cat to be honest. Not saying she doesn't get on with all dogs as she is fine with my 3 year old dog so she would be suited to a home that either has no dogs or the dog is older and wouldn't take an interest in her. I also have another cat who she gets on with fine. I have older kids of 13 and 17 but I don't think she would be suited to a lively home with very young children so about 6 years + would be fine. She is very much a house cat but will go explore in the garden from time to time but as I say at the moment she won't through fear of the dog. I feel it it in her best interests if I rehomed her now as seeing her hiding away most of the time is not giving her a great quality of life. Read More
