Beautiful Haflinger - Happy Hacker

Anaya is a very pretty 14.2hh Haflinger mare, D.O.B - Registered with the Haflinger Society of Great Britain. Full history known - Same home for nearly 7 years & bought from a neighbour who purchased her as an imported yearling from Belgium. I have mainly used her for hacking out on our country lanes. She enjoys hacking out on her own & in company and is a sensible and steady ride. She's very good in traffic and is used to dogs, ducks, hens etc around her at home. Anaya is very good with the farrier, dentist, vet, to clip & to load, up to date with vaccs. She has front shoes for road work but good strong feet. She has loads of character, enjoys contact with people, will follow you around the field and comes to call. Currently out during the day and stabled at night but could live out. No health issues - wears fly mask in summer as sensitive to fly bites. No sweet itch. Low mileage. Needs further schooling from a more experienced rider to bring out her full potential. Barbie, 14.2h. Haflinger, 13 yrs, Mare - Hertfordshire

Barbie is a straight forward ride, she’s forward going and likes to please however her schooling is a work in progress. She hacks alone and in company, loves to jump and is safe and sensible in the school – has been ridden by all ages. Has seen busy roads and open countryside, just needs a confident rider in case she isn’t sure of something. Would suit a confident older child/teen or small adult to have a lot of fun with. Barbie does have arthritis in her hocks however this doesn’t stop her doing anything, she just needs physio every six months or so as she stiffens up. She has in the past bolted if horses she is with on a hack also run off (hasn’t done this for over 2 years now). She can also be strong if she’s excited, usually when jumping. Due to these things she isn’t suitable for a novice home. She is stabled at night and turned out individually or with one other (she’s a dominant mare that needs stability – can’t be in constantly changing herds). Has good manners on the ground and has been handled by children and adults without issue. The easiest way to describe Barbie is as a big dog; she loves attention, she wants to please and she will happily follow you around all day. To stay within SE England/Home Counties. Solo is a 14.2hh Halflinger gelding. He has been professionally broken and schooled, but been out of work for almost a year due to lack of time, he was always responsive to vice commands and an easy ride, always the same regardless of how often he was ridden. Solo is a big lovable character, good with children, dogs, farrier and although it's been a while, good to load. Frankly I have been happy to just care for him over the last year, but I've just lost my grazing and at very short notice. I'm looking for a good home for this lad, he deserves it.
