Barbie, 14.2h. Haflinger, 13 yrs, Mare - Hertfordshire

Barbie is a straight forward ride, she’s forward going and likes to please however her schooling is a work in progress. She hacks alone and in company, loves to jump and is safe and sensible in the school – has been ridden by all ages. Has seen busy roads and open countryside, just needs a confident rider in case she isn’t sure of something. Would suit a confident older child/teen or small adult to have a lot of fun with. Barbie does have arthritis in her hocks however this doesn’t stop her doing anything, she just needs physio every six months or so as she stiffens up. She has in the past bolted if horses she is with on a hack also run off (hasn’t done this for over 2 years now). She can also be strong if she’s excited, usually when jumping. Due to these things she isn’t suitable for a novice home. She is stabled at night and turned out individually or with one other (she’s a dominant mare that needs stability – can’t be in constantly changing herds). Has good manners on the ground and has been handled by children and adults without issue. The easiest way to describe Barbie is as a big dog; she loves attention, she wants to please and she will happily follow you around all day. To stay within SE England/Home Counties. Bella is a lovely pony who would make a great all rounder or would be a good prospect for show or dressage. She came 2nd and 3rd in dressage with her previous owner. She is a forward and bold pony with an enthusiastic attitude and a scopey jump. She enjoys going on hacks and working in the school. She is not a novice ride and would suit a competent teenager or adult as she can be strong. She is currently ridden in a French link snaffle. She would make an ideal mother daughter share for an older experienced child. She was purchased for my novice 6 and 9 year old daughters but has proven to be too forward and strong for them. 13.3 hh Piebald Cob Mare 8 yrs Happy Hack in Romsey

This is Dolly. She's an 8 year old Piebald Cob Mare standing at 13.3hh. Dolly is a really sweet girl who is completely bombproof in the heaviest of traffic! We live on a very busy A road and she has seen arctic lorries, cranes, motorbikes, ambulance with lights and sirens, tractors and cars driving far too close. She has never so much as looked at anything just takes it all in her stride. She has also seen sheep and is very quiet around dogs. Dolly doesn't really enjoy doing work in the school although she will do it, just lacks a bit of enthusiasm. She much prefers hacking and would make a great happy hacker. She will go on her own or in company and doesnt mind going first or last. She is ridden in a snaffle at all times. She would live in it out, she's up to date with worming and farrier. Currently barefoot with very good feet. Dolly has never been vaccinated for flu and tet is so this would need doing. Dolly is a bit nervous around new people to start with. She is very easily won over with food though. She is a little bit sensitive about having her feet picked out but so long as you are confident and clear about what you want her to do she is fine. The farrier didn't have any problems with her. I'd like to find a lovely forever home for this sweet Mare as that is what she deserves. Cheap to keep pony
