Beautiful Haflinger - Happy Hacker

Anaya is a very pretty 14.2hh Haflinger mare, D.O.B - Registered with the Haflinger Society of Great Britain. Full history known - Same home for nearly 7 years & bought from a neighbour who purchased her as an imported yearling from Belgium. I have mainly used her for hacking out on our country lanes. She enjoys hacking out on her own & in company and is a sensible and steady ride. She's very good in traffic and is used to dogs, ducks, hens etc around her at home. Anaya is very good with the farrier, dentist, vet, to clip & to load, up to date with vaccs. She has front shoes for road work but good strong feet. She has loads of character, enjoys contact with people, will follow you around the field and comes to call. Currently out during the day and stabled at night but could live out. No health issues - wears fly mask in summer as sensitive to fly bites. No sweet itch. Low mileage. Needs further schooling from a more experienced rider to bring out her full potential. This is a difficult decision to sell our beautiful horse but due to lack of time we are selling Sky. She is a lovely mare and I think she would be best suited in a happy hacker home. She has jumped in her previous home and she has been jumped by us but nothing much, she does seem to enjoy it when she does jump. She is a little strong but not silly at all just needs a competent rider having said that she is a real confidence giver as nothing much seems to faze her. Sadly for sale due to lack of time due to other horses. Simon is for sale to a 10* home! He's 12 yo and 16.2. He is an ex racer but been out of racing 5 years and you would never believe he's actually raced as he's that quiet. He's like a cob in a tb's body haha. He's for sale as a light hacking horse due to he got a injury on his back leg which ended his racing career which mean there always fluid in his back hock. He's better living out as when he's stables he gets stiff on it (walks it off after a few steps tho!) I currently stable him at night though. To ride he needs a lot of leg to keep him going, not your typical tb. He's not spooky when hacking and just likes daundering along on the end of the buckle. Heartbreaking sale of my beautiful cob Maggie. Maggie is a fantastic little mare who is ready for a quieter life. She is 14.3hh and approximately 15yrs old. Maggie has been part of our family for 5 years, in which time she has given me so much confidence. She has mainly been used for hacking and fun rides and is now looking for a new home where she can continue to be a happy hack/companion/broodmare. Although Maggie is very safe she would not be suited for a complete novice as she can be a forward ride and is easy of the leg. Maggie has perfect manners in and out the stable, brilliant with kids, livestock, pets, traffic, loading, clipping, bathing, she really is a fantastic mare. Very sad sale of a much loved family pony due to no regular jockey. 14.2hh very quiet weight carrying cob, 13 years old, barefoot, unrugged all year as she grows the thickest coat during winter, lives in or out, she is out at the moment as we have no spare stable. This mare has lovely manners and will suit confident novice or mother daughter share, she takes her confidence from you and is always willing to please and a very quick learner. I have had intelligent horsemanship lessons with her from which we both benefited. She has never bitten, kicked, reared or bucked, hacks alone or in company, snaffle mouth and responsive to leg aids, green in school as i bought her as a happy hacker, currently living out with ponies, a shire and a shetland gelding, cattle and sheep. Is used to dogs, young children and all farm machinery, passes anything on roads. No vices or health issues. Microchipped, passported and wormed. She is nervous of the farrier and having her teeth done, she does not misbehave but dances a little, she is also nervous of the hosepipe but happily walks into the river to have her legs washed, this is where a confident novice can give her confidence.
