Bakhtiari rug.The Bakhtiar nomads live in the Zagros mountains to the east of the city of Isfahan, in the surroundings of the city of Shahr-e-Kurd. The majority of them speak Persian or a Luri dialect, while some of them, those who live in the province of Khuzestan, speak Arabic. The Bakhtiari men wear wide trousers, a round hat and a short tunic, a style of dressing so ancient that it dates back to the Parthian dynasty (200 BC–200 AD).
