Those are manufactured items that are quite heavy and robust with a relatively high pile. Their wools are of good quality and have a lovely shine. The field is divided into rhombuses by a continuous grid, made up of lines and tiny rosettes. Sometimes the decoration delineates spandrels, and at other times, it extends freely across the whole field.The centre medallion is also an element sometimes inserted in this pattern.
