The blade is in very good condition.Dirck Stoop (Utrecht, around there) was a Dutch painter, draftsman and etcher from the period of the Golden Age. He produced portraits and cityscapes, but especially landscapes, often with riders and hunting scenes, and depictions of battles and battles. Dirck was a son of the glass painter Willem Jansz. Stoop, who probably also was his teacher. He was a brother of the painter Maerten Stoop.
