Very good quality English leather saddle, GP, 17.5" seat, 9" D-D ring This saddle is a about 5 years old but is a superbly made english leather saddle - unfortunately the saddle makers name has faded and I can't recall who the saddle was made by. Cost £550 new The saddle has a few scuff marks around the cantle (see photos) and the usual stirrup leather marks but is otherwise in good condition Saddle very reluctantly for sale - I absolutely adore this saddle but it no longer fits my horse as he has grown and matured and it is now too narrow for him. I am gutted to have to sell as it is a smart and comfy saddle The saddle does need re flocking. this saddle although lacking a makers mark is a beautifully made quality english leather saddle (which no doubt cost a small fortune back when it was made) it is 17.5 inch in length and approx medium/med-wide fit (8in d to d or about 5.5in between the saddle cushions at the front.) it is showing some signs of its age with a few scuffs and marks on the leather and does have the name dandy faintly marked into the back of the cantle (see picture) but i cannot stress enough the quality this saddle is despite its age - not one for the show ring for obvious reasons, but years and years of useful life left in it - the perfect buy for hacking and use at home.

Lovely Brown 17" Saddle by Granville. Lovely condition, very little used. Flocking is firm and smooth. Tree is perfectly sound. Been well looked after. Will be cleaned and oiled ready for sale, little dusty from storage! Stamped wide. Measures 8.5" between D's, lovely 4" wide gullet. Extremely comfortable and secure seat. Due to the passing of my faithful friend I have now decided to sell my saddle. It is a brown leather Farringtons GP saddle. It measures17.5" from stud on pummel to centre of cantle and from D ring to D ring 9.5".The saddle is in good used condition and has only been used twice since it was re-flocked, the girth straps are like new. The colour is faded in areas and there are marks and scratches throughout but there is loads of life left in the saddle. I did purchase it as a used saddle but I have lovingly cared for it by cleaning and treating it regularly. Due to the size and weight the saddle is being offered for pick up only.

Lovely saddle made by Lovatt & Ricketts, Walsall. A great saddle that will really be able to cover all jobs with enough seat and saddle flap length to school in, comfortable enough to hack in for hours and forward cut enough to jump in. A true G.P. It has good weight bearing panels and enough width through the gullet to make it comfortable for the horse. Measures 8" d to d and approximately 2 1/2" in the middle of the gullet. Advertised at a good starting price due to surplus to requirements.
