Black English made GP/Event   saddle. Made by GFS. Good quality, sought after saddles. British standard on the stirrup bar and serial number stamped on sweatflap.  Measures 17" from stud to centre of cantle.  Measures 9" across the dee's. This is a nice wide fit. Flap measures 15" from stirrup bar to bottom.  Tree is sound. The stitching is strong and girth straps are sound and solid. Normal signs of use. Flair air flocked panels. Please see the First Thought website for more info about Flair and all its benefits. A few marks and scuffs, only minor cosmetics.  Good useful saddle, ideal for chunky cob types. GFS Fieldhouse Close Contact GP Saddle 17" Black Wide fit

Selling for a friend. This is a very versatile, comfortable GP saddle in nice condition. Not quite sure of its age but there are no particular signs of wear apart from a tiny bit of fading on the top of the cantle and a bit of "wrinkling" on the pommel. It had three very sound girth straps with buckle guards each side plus webbing to add a point strap if required. It measures 10" from D to D and has moulded panels for a close contact fit on a wider horse. It is also not particularly forward cut, possibly to suit a big shoulder. It has grained leather skirts and flaps with soft padding over average size knee rolls. Available to view/ try / collect near Horsham in West Sussex or can be posted for £20. Read More

Very good quality English leather saddle, GP, 17.5" seat, 9" D-D ring This saddle is a about 5 years old but is a superbly made english leather saddle - unfortunately the saddle makers name has faded and I can't recall who the saddle was made by The saddle has a few scuff marks around the cantle (see photos) and the usual stirrup leather marks but is otherwise in good condition Saddle very reluctantly for sale - I absolutely adore this saddle but it no longer fits my horse as he has grown and matured and it is now too narrow for him. I am gutted to have to sell as it is a smart and comfy saddle The saddle does need re flocking.
