Black English made GP/Event   saddle. Made by GFS. Good quality, sought after saddles. British standard on the stirrup bar and serial number stamped on sweatflap.  Measures 17" from stud to centre of cantle.  Measures 9" across the dee's. This is a nice wide fit. Flap measures 15" from stirrup bar to bottom.  Tree is sound. The stitching is strong and girth straps are sound and solid. Normal signs of use. Flair air flocked panels. Very smart GFS fieldhouse brown English leather GP/Jumping saddle. Smooth, thick and supple brown leather - Havana flaps with dark tan seat and knees. At 9'' d-d with a generous spine channel and nice even, wide flocked panels. Seat size inch. All 6 girth straps have recently been replaced with brand new English leather straps. Decent sized lower leg securing knee rolls. Good used condition - leather very well cared for - some slight water marks to dark tan seat/knees as to be expected. Tree, panels, straps, bars and stitching all sound. Minimal use related points of wear to the usual areas of cantle, seat, flaps, pommel, sweat flaps. Easily smart enough for shows. Selling this lovely well preserved saddle on behalf of a friend who no longer has her horse.  But I can honestly say she's looked after this one, One owner from new.  A Dark Brown Fieldhouse City 17 inch I believe medium width, 9 inches from centre of D ring to D ring.  And the Flap from stirrup bar is 15 inches. Lovely deep secure seat and very comfortable as GFS's tend to be.  Soft leather, fabulous tan piping detail front and back.  A real bargain for someone.  She tells me her horse was an arab cross, so fit suitable I would think for this type and thoroughbreds.   There is a small amount of scratches to the cantle from storage as pictured but doesn't detract from this lovely saddle at a great price. And obviously normal wear from where the stirrup leathers have been.   Can collect from WR1 or WR5.  Any questions please are most welcome. I also have to say if you were to take a chance on this saddle, please trust me it's worth every penny of £150 and should be going for £300 at least.

Details about   GFS Pro VSD (GP) Saddle 17"

GFS pro vsd saddle in sound condition. It does have some marks from stirrup leathers and the finish on the pommel is a bit worn but it is still a neat looking saddle. The girth straps are in good condition and the stitching sound, I don't have the buckle guards but the serial number is clearly stamped. 17" seat 8.5" D to D 4.5" Gullet level with D's Medium to medium/wide fit.
