Details about   15" WH GP VSD pony saddle XW (extra wide)

15" Kes GP/ VSD/ WH style pony saddle in brown.  XW - measures approx 10" D-D.  quality leather - Made in England. This saddle is in good used condition.   All sound, only fault is that one of the KES badges is missing this is purely cosmetic.  It is still smart enough for the show ring, we used to use it for working hunter classes. The saddle has a comfy semi deep seat and a fair sized knee roll to keep the little ones happy and on board.  I have used it on our Welsh A but it would be suited to any wide native/ cob type pony.   Recently valued at £385 by my saddler.  I am looking for offers around £250 as surplus to requirements. Absolutely gutted to be selling this saddle.  I bought it with my new mare, but buy in haste and repent at leisure.  This is a lovely deep seated GFS brown saddle I would say two tone.  Lovely soft leather, very comfortable and very secure.  I am not that confident a rider and I even did some jumps in it.  But, however I have got it home and relised that it does not fit me  and wasn't that great a fit on May so hence I need a new one.   GFS or Fieldhouse as they used to be known is one of my favourites and is a real bargain for someone as I paid a lot more it.  This is Medium Wide fitting, the flap from the stirrup bar is 15.5 inches and from the centre curve of each D ring is 9.5 inches.  No damage in excellent condition with just normal wear and tear from stirrups, girths etc. If you would like to collect from either WR1 or WR5 it can be arranged or am happy to send by courier.  If you would like any further details please do not hesitate to send me a question.  Please trust me that this saddle is absolutely stunning and worth every penny I'm asking for it and should be going to £400 at least...................... 0

Sadly for sale, my GFS VSD saddle in brown leather. I brought this saddle to bring my horse back into work but he has outgrown it before I had a chance to ride in it. This is an excellent example of a GFS saddle and has had very little wear at all. The girth straps have no wear on them at all and the leather is still strong and uncreased on the leg flaps. It is 8" from D ring to D ring and has all rings attached. It also has the black imprint on the leg flap and the black enamel logo on BOTH sides on the cantle. There is only one minor scuff on the cantle of this amazing saddle, which when polished is hardly visible. Please don't let that put you off this saddle. Details about   GFS 15 inch pony dressage WH saddle

GFS Grid Prix pony dressage saddle, which would also suit as a working hunter saddle. Quality black leather and it has recently been reflocked but not yet put onto the pony for bedding in (as the pony was sold in the meantime), so it is ready to mould to your pony's back afresh.     It is a few years old now but still has lots of life left in it.  The master saddlers that reflocked it  vouched that the tree is sound and true. In good clean condition with no tears or rips but used so some light marks as you would expect from normal wear.   It is very comfortable to ride in!  See the photos for measurements, I'll do my best to answer any questions.

GFS pro vsd saddle in sound condition. It does have some marks from stirrup leathers and the finish on the pommel is a bit worn but it is still a neat looking saddle. The girth straps are in good condition and the stitching sound, I don't have the buckle guards but the serial number is clearly stamped. 17" seat 8.5" D to D 4.5" Gullet level with D's Medium to medium/wide fit. This beautiful saddle is the most comfortable English saddle I have ever sat in! It has a very soft seat really comfy for a bad back and long hours hacking. It puts you in a very nice but not forced position and is very supportive at the knee and cantle, I have used this saddle for jumping also. It has a minor scuff on the cantle but this can hardly be seen and does not impede the saddles performance at all. Please contact me for more info.
