Absolutely gorgeous, dark bay 4yrs Irish bred gelding. Bought to bring on to do unaffiliated dressage but it is obvious he is happier jumping and hacking out. He is bombproof on his own or with company out on the roads, buses wagons flying plastic bags, you name it he just carries on. He is only 4 so still has lots to learn so not a complete novice ride although he has no stable vices, he stands still to be mounted never bucks rears or takes off, he is snaffle mouthed at all times going nicely out and about in walk and trot but his canter still needs work. He has no vices and enjoys human company would probably enjoy natural horsemanship. I don’t enjoy jumping preferring dressage so unfortunately I have decided to sell him. He hasn’t got a nasty bone in him the worst thing I can think of about him is he needs quite a bit of leg when being ridden though this should improve as he gets older. Gorgeous 15.2hh Bay Cob Gelding

Sonny is a gorgeous and eye catching 15.2hh (and still growing!) rising 4 year old bay cob gelding. He has an excellent confirmation and would excel in the show ring, or as a happy hacker or driving horse. He has a lovely cuddly personality and loves human attention. He will stand for hours to be fussed and groomed alone or in company and is the first to plod over for attention in the field. I bought Sonny as a project a year and a half ago, and he ended up staying with me a lot longer than planned as he’s such a lovely boy! I have ummed and arred for a while now on whether to sell him, but after being unable to find a sharer and coming to terms with the reality of how I really do not have time to ride two horses, or the facilities to bring him onto his full potential (no school) I have come the decision to sell him on. He loads first time ever time, is excellent for my trimmer and has some of the best feet she has seen so won’t ever need shoes. He is excellent to be tacked up, have his feet picked out, stands for the vet and dentist (no sedation needed) and although he hasn’t been clipped I have rubbed clippers all over him and he couldn’t care less. He lives out 24/7 all year round, unrugged (although he does wear a fly sheet in horse fly season), in a herd environment, and I would like him to go somewhere where they will continue to keep him this way. I backed Sonny at the end of the summer using a mixture of natural horsemanship and traditional methods, and have been bringing him on slowly since so he is only for sale to an experienced home who can continue his education. Sonny is ridden bitless but can be bitted, and is happy to walk and trot with a rider, and excellent to hack out in company. He has already been boxed out to the local woods with my other horse for a hack where he saw lots of screaming children, dogs, cars, people, ice cream vans and took it all in his stride. I do hack him out alone, but he can be a bit nervous due to his age, which I am sure will get better with more time and experience. I think he would excel as a happy hacker, a show cob or a driving horse. He is not forward going, but is straight off of your leg so I wouldn’t class him as a plod either – he is a happy medium! That being said, I could easily see him becoming a kick along in the wrong hands if nagged with the leg by an incompetent rider, hence why I will not sell to a novice rider or owner. His new home is very important to me and I do not want him bought as a project and sold on further. He really craves human attention and I really want him now to go onto a one on one home where he will be loved and fussed and given lots of attention. His new home will be vetted and I want the new owner to stay in touch and send me lots of updates and pictures. 15'1 HWT Dapple Bay Cob Gelding

Nine year old Irish Bay cob standing at 15'1. Ten inches of clean bone and clean legs. He has correct confirmation and moves straight. Hack out alone and in company. He is a responsive ride but honest and not strong. He needs further bringing on in the school but does not buck, rear or bolt. He has hunted in Ireland and whipped in. He can we sensitive at times but very sweet and genuine. Easy to handle, good in the stable and catches easily. Loads with ease and is good with the farrier or vet. No Vices.
