Nine year old Irish Bay cob standing at 15'1. Ten inches of clean bone and clean legs. He has correct confirmation and moves straight. Hack out alone and in company. He is a responsive ride but honest and not strong. He needs further bringing on in the school but does not buck, rear or bolt. He has hunted in Ireland and whipped in. He can we sensitive at times but very sweet and genuine. Easy to handle, good in the stable and catches easily. Loads with ease and is good with the farrier or vet. No Vices. Heartbreaking sale of much loved boy! Due to giving up horses! Due to other commitments and daughter loss of intrest come to the decision to give up horses. We don't have the time to give this special boy! Due to work and home commitments etc. He has fantastic breeding, his sire is Abs of Lindale who is world's heaviest silver dapple Gypsy Vann. He turned 4 this year and is approx 14.3 we have been long reining him and he has been hacking and started schooling no problem took to it straight away. We have a professional rider come weekly to school him, he is coming on great just more work on his canter but we haven't rushed this boy! He goes in a natural outline no need to pin this boy down! Fantastic with farrier, vet, dentist etc great to catch etc. His colouring is black silver dapple gypsy vanner. He is stunning and will just get better with age. Will be devastated to let him go had him from when he was weaned but doing this for him he needs to get out and start his ridden/ showing career! Will excel in the show ring! Gorgeous 15.2hh Bay Cob Gelding

Sonny is a gorgeous and eye catching 15.2hh (and still growing!) rising 4 year old bay cob gelding. He has an excellent confirmation and would excel in the show ring, or as a happy hacker or driving horse. He has a lovely cuddly personality and loves human attention. He will stand for hours to be fussed and groomed alone or in company and is the first to plod over for attention in the field. I bought Sonny as a project a year and a half ago, and he ended up staying with me a lot longer than planned as he’s such a lovely boy! I have ummed and arred for a while now on whether to sell him, but after being unable to find a sharer and coming to terms with the reality of how I really do not have time to ride two horses, or the facilities to bring him onto his full potential (no school) I have come the decision to sell him on. He loads first time ever time, is excellent for my trimmer and has some of the best feet she has seen so won’t ever need shoes. He is excellent to be tacked up, have his feet picked out, stands for the vet and dentist (no sedation needed) and although he hasn’t been clipped I have rubbed clippers all over him and he couldn’t care less. He lives out 24/7 all year round, unrugged (although he does wear a fly sheet in horse fly season), in a herd environment, and I would like him to go somewhere where they will continue to keep him this way. I backed Sonny at the end of the summer using a mixture of natural horsemanship and traditional methods, and have been bringing him on slowly since so he is only for sale to an experienced home who can continue his education. Sonny is ridden bitless but can be bitted, and is happy to walk and trot with a rider, and excellent to hack out in company. He has already been boxed out to the local woods with my other horse for a hack where he saw lots of screaming children, dogs, cars, people, ice cream vans and took it all in his stride. I do hack him out alone, but he can be a bit nervous due to his age, which I am sure will get better with more time and experience. I think he would excel as a happy hacker, a show cob or a driving horse. He is not forward going, but is straight off of your leg so I wouldn’t class him as a plod either – he is a happy medium! That being said, I could easily see him becoming a kick along in the wrong hands if nagged with the leg by an incompetent rider, hence why I will not sell to a novice rider or owner. His new home is very important to me and I do not want him bought as a project and sold on further. He really craves human attention and I really want him now to go onto a one on one home where he will be loved and fussed and given lots of attention. His new home will be vetted and I want the new owner to stay in touch and send me lots of updates and pictures. Troy (Lucky Zulu) is a 16.1 TB x Cob Bay gelding. He has hunted with the Southern Shires Bloodhounds, where he looked after me on my first hunt. I believe he has also hunted on the new forest with a previous owner. Troy loves cross country and is very honest with a big, bold jump. He is also great through water. He has taken part in hunter trials with a previous owner. 14.3hh handsome ride and drive cob gelding. Up to date with teeth and worming. Good nature, never bitten or kicked. Good to tie up and groom. Nice comfortable paces, moves at a nice steady pace. Good in all types of traffic. Driven by a novice driver but would need experienced driver to progress to roads as am not knowledgeable enough in this area, been told was previously driven on some roads sometimes. Can do 2 or 4 wheel cart. Can be ridden/driven around open fields and amongst other horses. Hacks alone but need to be assertive to build him up in this area further. Only flaw is he can be stubborn whilst hacking going forwards sometimes, doesn't rear, buck or bolt but wouldn't say he is bombproof or foolproof. Schools nice and softly on the bit. Good with kids, to trim, catch, worm. Will load into a single trailer. Barefoot no problem. Lives out in a mixed herd no problem. Someone to progress him further preferred as he is a smart lad but would also comfortably suit trekking centre, happy hack in company as he is if this is what someone requires of him. Will continue to hack and school whilst here, showing improvement each time. Can carry up to approximately 13 stone. Heartbreaking sale of this super sweet and special boy. For sale due to giving up riding to concentrate on driving. Tim is a fantastic boy, loves to be groomed and pampered and will stand all day. I have owned Tim for 2 and a half years, reviously he has hunted and done fun rides, pony club and riding club. With me he has mostly been out hacking all over the countryside, will hack alone and in company, go first or last. He's not keen on motorbikes but no problem in traffic. I've ridden him in open fields no problem, snaffle mouthed at all times. He loves to be long reined and I've taken him up all over. He's forward going but safe, but can be a bit lazy schooling.
