Very sad sale of our much loved pony Bugsy (Haighend Just George). We have owned Bugsy for 3 years (my daughter was 9) unfortunately, he is sadly outgrown and completely wasted as no rider. This lovely, sweet natured, fantastic temperament boy is looking for a new child to love and adore him. Bugsy is a -year-old, dark bay, British Riding Pony. He has a very successful showing career under his belt, ridden and in-hand with previous owner (unfortunately my daughter lost interest in showing), he’s attended pony club rallies and will hack out alone or in company. 14hh Bay Gelding 18 Year Old Pony For Sale in Colchester

Our adorable pony is well schooled, has great paces is easy to ride and is for sale due to being outgrown by my daughter. He has many years left in him and looks amazing. He really is up for anything, he is excellent in the heaviest of traffic including lorries, double deckers, combine harvesters, skip lorries etc. He hacks alone perfectly either by himself or with company, he competes regularly and does well in Working Hunter Classes, Showing, Xcountry, Showjumping, Dressage, Hunter trials, Long Distant rides, ODE and has been attending PC for the last three years including rallies and 4 day camp and area dressage. Currently jumping any height up to 2'6" maximum. Happy to go through water. Happy to be first or last. He will stand tied up to a trailor all day or can be happily left inside a trailor at shows. He always does well at shows and in the ribbons. Happy to be ridden bareback. He is excellent to catch, trim, pulling mane, bath, lunge, load, clip, worm, farrier and is up to date with worming, teeth, vaccinations and back. He does not barge and is happy to be sprayed with flyspray etc. Lives in or out alone or in company with mares or geldings. Happy to be in a stable on straw or shavings. Happy to have dry or wet hay. He has front shoes on every 5-6 weeks to keep his toes short. Has not lost a shoe since we have owned him. Excellent with electric fencing. He does not particularly like his girth being done up but if you speak to him before you do it he is usually fine. Brilliant with sheep chickens dogs etc. He is looking for a confident lightweight adult / child / teenager to enjoy his fun loving, cheeky character. I have also ridden him but I am too heavy. I am 5'6" and easily suits my height as he is a hunter type. His breeding is unknown. He can be a novice ride on the lead rein as my Daughter started off on the lead rein with him but would not suit a total novice off the read rein as he can be a bit cheeky and put in the odd titchy little buck which is easy to sit and not nasty in anyway (he would not do this with an adult or teenager). He is very happy to adapt to the level of any rider. He has been part of our life for 3 years and the previous owner for 10years (we still keep in contact with them). Have loads of photos and videos. I am genuinely an honest person and keep in contact with our last pony that we sold three years ago and would like to do the same with whoever buys our lovely Brambles. He comes with a very good quality snaffle bridle, saddle, rugs etc. He has slight arthritis in his near fore foot but does not normally need any treatment and this does not affect him. He would also be perfect for a mother / daughter share or an adult who wants to have fun hacking and having a go at anything as he can carry up to stone. Absolutely gorgeous, dark bay 4yrs Irish bred gelding. Bought to bring on to do unaffiliated dressage but it is obvious he is happier jumping and hacking out. He is bombproof on his own or with company out on the roads, buses wagons flying plastic bags, you name it he just carries on. He is only 4 so still has lots to learn so not a complete novice ride although he has no stable vices, he stands still to be mounted never bucks rears or takes off, he is snaffle mouthed at all times going nicely out and about in walk and trot but his canter still needs work. He has no vices and enjoys human company would probably enjoy natural horsemanship. I don’t enjoy jumping preferring dressage so unfortunately I have decided to sell him. Previously when in work Bailey was handled by my three year old nephew. He has been used to lead both my daughter and nephew on the lead rein, however he has only been ridden several times on the lead rein with a child riding themselves. Falko is a super star pony, we've owned him for nearly 2years but a change in circumstances forces sale, We bought him as a 1st pony which he's great at but does need a capable person to take him for abit of fun occasionally, otherwise he would be a 2nd pony, he is forward going but has breaks. He has thrown in the very occasional buck when over excited in canter but only done this with a small adult rider. He lives both in or out with no vices and bare foot at all times, handled by my 7year old daughter everyday, groomed lead and tacked up by her, we've mostly done flat work and hacking (open fields, roads and woods) alone or in company, we have taken him to a couple of shows where he's been perfectly behaved, he's done the odd jump in the school or ditch out hacking but hasn't been a focus for us, however he does enjoy a small jump, he loves his dressage and really enjoys his job He'll travel in both box or trailer, alone or with company, lives off thin air and never had laminitis, flu jab and teeth are due at the end of Feb.
