Cali is for sale as I really don't have the time for her to do her any justice as I have three other ponies and i am also pregnant. I am advertising Meeka as a brood mare or companion. At this stage I have not rode her for around 8 months she was diagnosed with a navicular and because of this I haven't done anything with her on the advise of the vet. Saying that Meeka is a very hardy mare and does not know pain she is galloping around the field as happy as can be. I would love for her to have a purpose and be able to perhaps be used as a brood mare as she honestly is a superb horse. My absolute dream- she played polocrosse before I had her and then competed in Horseball with me in this country and abroad. She truly is amazing at her job and that's why it is so devastating for me to have to make this decision. I am looking for a forever home for me mare, 9 years old, 15'3 cob x (warmblood passport) unfortunately nearly 2 years ago she damaged her deep digital flexor tendon and I have brought her back field sound but she won't be ridden again, unfortunately I have to have her on full livery due to work commitments so is very expensive to keep her as a pet. She is very nice natured (like a big dog) and loves people, she enjoys a scratch and looks grooming with other horses. She can be handled by children and will just follow you around, even after 6 months box rest she was an angel to turn out waiting for her head collar taking of before she ran into the field and on box rest you wouldn't have know you had her there. With her temperament I think she would make a good brood mare but I have never bred from her so nothing proven. A good home is the most important to me I have owned her since she was nearly 2 so is a difficult decision to look for a new home for her. Storm was saved from Slaughter this year. She is 9 years old. She was completely unhandled in June, but is now halter broken and leading. There is no reason why an experienced home couldn't break her to be ridden in the future. She has had at least 3 foals that we know of, and now needs a new life where she is the focus. She is 100% Not in foal now. She is very gently and thoughtful. She hasn't kicked or bitten us, but will happily defend her food against other field companions. Cobra is a lovely STAGBI registered Standardbred, she’s standing at around 16,3hh. We got her from the RSPCA in October with the view of breaking her in the spring. I did some light work with her in January before becoming pregnant. I did little ground work, laid over her and walked around sitting her without any issues.
