The bowl has three curled legs, depicting mythological creatures. The rim of the bowl is decorated with a band of cloisonné, in various colours, with ruyi and branch patterns. There are holes in the cover, which let the smoke pass through, and it has a depiction of a Japanese Shi Shi at the top.
