This clock is a genuine antique 30 hour longcase clock by a famous maker. The movement is of superior construction with thick brass plates, 4 large brass pillars, and chain winding mechanism. 30 hour clocks only take 10 seconds to wind and are ideally placed on a wall close to an activity performed everyday such as drawing curtains. It has just had an oil service and bees wax polish. George Honeybone came from a family of over 100 years and 4 generations of clockmakers in Fulford, Gloucestershire. He was born in the son of Richard Honeybone. George worked in Fairford from to , and this clock dates from c. The Fairford History Society states: "Honeybone clocks are now much sought after today, particularly in the Cotswolds as they represent fine examples of local craftsmanship and a link to Fairford's past". This clock is particularly attractive with a painted dial showing rural scenes, glazed hood door with old glass, swan neck pedament above with brass finial. Lead weight and period brass pendulum. Very attractive Vienna Biedermeier Grand Sonnerie Regulator wall clock c

Extremely elegant and lovely Viennese Biedermeirer Grand Sonnerie Regulator wall clock c Maker Maranzeller in Wien which is signed on the one piece dial. The dial has a nice engine turned bezel which is nicely gilded, It has a strike silent and a pull repeat, The clock is a full grand Sonnerie, which strikes all the last hours and quarters. The Biedermeier is of the Dachluhr period which his a six glass and is made of lovely mahogany with box wood stringing and also nice beadwork to the case. Handsome oak c. s wind-up mantel clock with key - working but needs some attention

Large very handsome s oak mantel clock which has its pendulum and key. This old clock works, after a fashion, or it did when we last tried it. It will need servicing or cleaning. The chime doesn't work. Bought for our daughter. My husband fancied himself as an amateur horologist then never got round to looking at it! The clock measures approx 16" wide x 8½" tall x 5" deep (41 x 21 x 13cm). It is a good looking clock that just needs a bit of TLC to restore to its original glory.
