This piece really does blend beauty and usefulness excellently! The sideboard has been expertly renovated using only the best techniques and materials, including many layers of Annie Sloan chalk paint and two layers of clear wax for protection and sheen, meaning that it both gives a nicely aged appearance today and will also continue to age beautifully. Dimensions (approx.) Height = 91cm x Width = 123cm x Depth = 49cm Height including backing plate = 111cm In this example, we have used Annie Sloan's Paris Grey* (a light grey with a hint of blue) chalk paint and a double helping of clear wax to finish. This sideboard is very nice indeed and deserves to be treasured for many years. This piece is in a very good solid condition, despite being around 90 years old. Thankfully it was well constructed and made of fine old English oak which has helped it survive the ages so well. Large very handsome s oak mantel clock which has its pendulum and key. This old clock works, after a fashion, or it did when we last tried it. It will need servicing or cleaning. The chime doesn't work. Bought for our daughter. My husband fancied himself as an amateur horologist then never got round to looking at it! The clock measures approx 16" wide x 8½" tall x 5" deep (41 x 21 x 13cm). It is a good looking clock that just needs a bit of TLC to restore to its original glory.
