The dimensions, with the top closed, are Height 51cm, Width 53cm, Depth 35cm The table top when open measures 53cm x 70cm Originally this would have had a small pillar immediately above the base. This has at some stage been removed and the supporting arms strengthened with a steel bar. This is just visible at the right hand side of the main picture. This gorgeous antique Jewelry box,   must be atleast 30+ years old  solid mahogany. with serious craftsmanship in it.  as a  woodworker, i know a  good job.  to replicate this work would take years of training.    the dovetails in the joining of the wood are gorgious.   - not to mention the overall box is lovely and would look great in any setting.   obviously as a old item it has  some wear, but the key/lock  works,  interior is a  typical example of old jewelry box's.    -    overall the item is in good condition, has had a  polish up and a  clean up,  could be reworked but i think that would destroy its charm.      "postage wise,  will be well packaged with bubble wrap, and secure.  royal mail 48-  £8 postage is fair considering the items size, not large but not small.
