An 18th century mahogany wooden tea caddy manufactured during the English George III period about . The tea caddy is made from pine, oak and mahogany vineer and glued with very thick (hand-)sawed mahogany veneer. The tea caddy is decorated with sawed brass ornaments, key entrance and handle on the lid. In addition to all the original fittings, the hinges and lock are also original, unfortunately a working key is missing. The inside presumably once had partitions and/or compartments. Burr walnut wardrobe (triple) & matching tallboy, circa s

Loving home required for this beautiful antique burr walnut and mahogany triple wardrobe with equally lovely matching tallboy from s. Triple wardrobe. H cm (tallest centre point), W 156cm, D 58cm (latter both outside edge of legs) Single side to right contains three pull out shelves and two roomy drawers and there is a full-length mirror on the inside of the door; the double opening side to the left contains an upper shelf (not original but been in situ for 50+ years) with two front-on pull out hanging rails, two shoe support bars on the bottom and the left-hand door has an internal, full length mirror. The pattern of the burr walnut front has been extremely cleverly matched across all three doors. The top is gently curved inwards to a higher point in the centre. Doors have the original handles but no keys. The single and double sides can be separated from each other and the base for moving. Tallboy H 154cm (highest centre point), W 95cm, D 51cm (both outside edge of legs) Contains three pull-out shelves and one large roomy drawer; again, the pattern of the walnut front has been very carefully matched and the top curves gently upwards to a higher point in the centre. The original key and surround is present but the handle is missing. There is a little sun damage on the top of this piece but it could be easily dealt with. Both items have been in the same (non-smoking) family for 50+ years. They are in good condition for their age but as you would expect they have accumulated some wear over time. Hi, For sale is my antique Victorian 'Sutherland' table. It is in good original condition with flat flaps and no warping or splits. The top and flaps are matched burr walnut. Two spiral turned supports, gate legs & stretcher. The bottom cabriole feet are nicely carved and there is an overall nice glowing honey colour.
