Superb burr walnut writing slope

This victorian writing slope, which dates from around is in excellent condition which comes with working lock & key. It has a plain cartouche and is complete with inkwells. The interior has a lovely colour wood and a wine coloured leather writing surface. Please see photo of slight mark on the lid.

Antique Writing Slope in Burr Walnut with Brass Fittings

This very nice Writing Slope in Burr Walnut with Brass Fittings is in generally good condition for it's age. It has a secret compartment as shown in the photos. A quite small amount of work would make this Slope a very desirable item. There is a very small piece of brass strip missing left of the centre brass square on top of the lid, and some minor cracks in the case as shown in the photos, also the key is missing.
