Lovely genuine all rounder type. Done RC activities (and side saddle) with previous owner, with me he has been hacking and discovered a bit of dressage! He has been hacked mostly in company, just because that's the way it's worked out, he does hack alone but just not quite as confident, but nothing a bit of practise wouldn't solve. Not nappy, doesn't buck or rear. Very kind mannerly boy. Good in traffic, box, travel, shoe, not keen on being clipped (we sedated, but it was his first time!) not a bad bone in this boy's body, his only 'bad point' (because no-one is perfect) is he does lack a bit of confidence but he does trust his rider and if you say it's ok it's ok. Such a heart breaking decision but my beautiful Irish Thoroughbred is up for sale. I currently can now no longer ride as I am waiting for a back operation and will be unable to walk for months, so this is the best choice for my boy. Xander has come such a long way coming from a bad previous home. He has been ridden by a novice but I want him to go too a home with experience. He needs a lot more schooling and hacking out (walk trot) to build his muscle up as he was very under nourished. He is currently coming back into work being lunged and ridden slowly after having a rest. He is a very lazy ride but slight squeeze and he will listen, so no leg kickers!! I am only wanting him to go too a 10* home as he is a very loved boy, so experienced people only please. He needs to go to someone with a kind hand, I am very gentle with Xander and that's the sort of home I want him to go too. I am in no rush to sell him as I only want serious and honest people for my boy! Chico will hack alone or in company and in the heaviest of traffic. He is snaffle mouthed at all times. Has competed in many dressage, showjumping and hunter trial competitions having numerous results and placings. Has competed BE eventing and showed great potential finishing with a respectable dressage score and clear through both jumping phases. Chico has also hunted for the last two seasons and was a fun and safe ride for the full day. He's great with the hounds and will ride and lead. FOR SALE - 5* HOME ONLY! Derbyshire. 16HH 12 year old chestnut thoroughbred gelding (raced until he was 7). Due to lack of time, Player is seeking a new home. I have owned him since July and have been concentrating on his flatwork and have taken him to a handful of dressage competitions. He needs an experienced rider and someone who can offer consistent, regular work which I am not able to. Works in an excellent outline and can leg yield, rein back and other basic dressage moves.
