Reluctant sale of our 13.3h 10 yr (nearly 11 yr old) old British riding pony gelding. We have owned him for nearly 4 years and over this time has been ridden by myself and my 10 yr old Daughter and before that my older Daughter. Unfortunately my 10 yr old Daughter has lost interest so we need to find him a new home. He's still in work, fit and ready to go. I would describe him as a very friendly, fun, forward going, responsive pony. He's a very pretty pony who moves nicely on the flat and over jumps. He's great on the yard and is turned out with mares and geldings, out all summer in at night in winter. He's good to catch, load, clip and shoe. He's good on the roads and will lead the ride. He can get a bit excited on a ride, once you've had a canter, we find if you let him lead he prefers it, for that reason I would say he would suit a competent lightweight adult/ teenager/ confident and competent child looking for a second pony, I wouldn't say he would be suitable for a novice. He will hack on his own but hasn't done for a while. He likes to jump and has done PC, XC, show jumping and sponsored rides. He had been attending weekly schooling lessons with my daughter Before she stopped riding but this area could do with a bit more work. No lumps, bumps, laminitis or sweet itch. Very handsome 16hh 10yr old cob x ISH gelding, Duke is a real yard favourite, coming from a long term home he is a real ‘people person’ he’s excellent to catch, clip, load, shoe, bath, in and out of the stable and is a real gentleman at all times. Duke is the meaning of a perfect all rounder, he show jumps, events, hunts, competes in dressage, hacks alone or in company and is perfect in traffic. In the arena he is very nicely schooled, he works on a consistent outline, established in his walk to canters and lateral work. I have come to the hard decision to sell my best friend. Harley is 11 year old, 16.1hh chestnut thoroughbred gelding. We have owned him for the past 5 years where he was brought as a project. He is a fast learner and has been to a couple of local shows both show jumping and cross country. However due to myself going back into education he has only been hacked for the past year. He hacks both in company and on his own. Prefers to take the lead when in company. Harley is good with the farrier, dentist, no stable vices. Snaffle mouth. Gets on with both mares and geldings. Up to date with vaccinations, worming, teeth and feet. Lives in or out and is a good doer considering he is a thoroughbred. Harley has lovely sable manners and is very affectionate, would stand for hours being cuddled, groomed and pampered. He equally can be turned out for days and would still love you. Harley is a dream to own, easy to look after and will fit around your lifestyle. Harley does not have a nasty bone in his body he is very forgiving. Harley is not a novice ride, he needs to be sold to an experienced rider who has preferably dealt with thoroughbreds before. He is not a horse you can bully and needs a quiet confident rider. Harley is visually confident but is sensitive to sound. For example when hacking if he sees a tractor, bus etc he is fine. However is he hears something behind him and cannot see it he tends to panic. By panic he does not rear or buck but shoot forward. This is rare but need him to go to the right home to get the best out of him. 5* home is a must for this much loved boy. Harley will be sold from the field due to me being at university for the past 4 months and not having the time he deserves. No timewasters please this is a heart breaking sale as it is. 16.3 Irish Thoroughbred Gelding, 11 years old in

Such a heart breaking decision but my beautiful Irish Thoroughbred is up for sale. I currently can now no longer ride as I am waiting for a back operation and will be unable to walk for months, so this is the best choice for my boy. Xander has come such a long way coming from a bad previous home. He has been ridden by a novice but I want him to go too a home with experience. He needs a lot more schooling and hacking out (walk trot) to build his muscle up as he was very under nourished. He is currently coming back into work being lunged and ridden slowly after having a rest. He is a very lazy ride but slight squeeze and he will listen, so no leg kickers!! I am only wanting him to go too a 10* home as he is a very loved boy, so experienced people only please. He needs to go to someone with a kind hand, I am very gentle with Xander and that's the sort of home I want him to go too. I am in no rush to sell him as I only want serious and honest people for my boy!
