Very sad sale of my 9 year old daughters 6 year old coloured mare. "Gypsy" This horse has masses of potential. She loves being a show off and works beautifully on the bridle. She is hot shod front and back. We have clipped her out numerous times without an ounce of bother. No need for sedation or twitching etc. She is great to hose and bath/plait. Not too fond of mane pulling so I cheat and use a solo comb! Gyp hacks out not a bit if bother and if unsure of anything will just stare at it rather than spinning /napping. She is on a busy working farm/ livery yard and is used to dogs and farm machinery. She has been schooled in the arena in the heaviest of storms and has behaved impeccably. Gyp is good to mount, lead, catch, box and travel. We have had her out regularly in a trailer and she knows once u drop the ramp that she is off for a little trip lol! Gyp is 3/4 trotter cross cob. She has amazing power and incredible trot work. She is still developing balance in her canter work but we have put tons of Lunge work work in to help with this. Gyp is currently ridden in a hanging cheek snaffle. She has jumped courses of 80cm clear and fast! I have to be completely honest and say that i want this little mare someone who will shower her with time and attention. They also need to show her who is boss from time to time. My 5 year old daughter can lead her round the yard no problem and she really loves the fuss! Gyp has been placed or won in every single dressage intro test we have been to. She has had amazing judges comments. She also won her first ever showing class on her first time out. Gyp has regular physio and thermal scans to keep her in good shape. Has been backed for 8 weeks and has been the easiest youngster to do, improves every day and does not say no to anything. Work on the lunge is perfect, listens and responds to voice commands quickly. Loves pole work and self corrects to make sure she doesn't touch them. Schooling is green due to age but is improving every day. Learning to accept contact and work in an established and correct outline. Very well balanced for a youngster and again is improving daily. Has jumped in the school and is taking to this perfectly. Also has done lots of ridden pole work and raised poles. Has jumped logs out hacking around the farm. Great to hack out, not fussed by any traffic. Beautiful 11yr old 16.3 hh TB mare top blood line in Brough

Gorgeous rising 12 yrs 16.3hh thoroughbred mare. Has amazing bloodlines (silver patriarch and primitive rising),has never been trained to race. This beautiful mare has done a little bit of everything: arena show cross, cross country schooling (jumping everything: water, ditches, step-ups/down and more!), dressage and hacking (Not spooky and fine in busy traffic!) however is green and hasn't done anything in great depth. She is snaffle mouthed in all disciplines and doesn't get strong. In the stable, Etty has impeccable manners, she is also very easy to handle when moving around the yard. She loads fine and will stand for the farrier, she is twitched for her back legs, which works well; she has extremely good feet. She is good for dentist. She has not needed to be clipped in the year I have owned this mare.
