Very sad sale of my 9 year old daughters 6 year old coloured mare. "Gypsy" This horse has masses of potential. She loves being a show off and works beautifully on the bridle. She is hot shod front and back. We have clipped her out numerous times without an ounce of bother. No need for sedation or twitching etc. She is great to hose and bath/plait. Not too fond of mane pulling so I cheat and use a solo comb! Gyp hacks out not a bit if bother and if unsure of anything will just stare at it rather than spinning /napping. She is on a busy working farm/ livery yard and is used to dogs and farm machinery. She has been schooled in the arena in the heaviest of storms and has behaved impeccably. Gyp is good to mount, lead, catch, box and travel. We have had her out regularly in a trailer and she knows once u drop the ramp that she is off for a little trip lol! Gyp is 3/4 trotter cross cob. She has amazing power and incredible trot work. She is still developing balance in her canter work but we have put tons of Lunge work work in to help with this. Gyp is currently ridden in a hanging cheek snaffle. She has jumped courses of 80cm clear and fast! I have to be completely honest and say that i want this little mare someone who will shower her with time and attention. They also need to show her who is boss from time to time. My 5 year old daughter can lead her round the yard no problem and she really loves the fuss! Gyp has been placed or won in every single dressage intro test we have been to. Blagdon Mare for sale 14.1 hh 8 years old

Stunning Blagdon Cob Mare History We bought Mary from a dealer for my 60-something year old mum to hack. She had a high worm burden and wasn't up to date with vaccinations, teeth etc. We have now rectified this. She is passported at 14.1hh and 8 years old but she is more like 13.3hh, very wide and chunky. Good bits Mary is great out hacking she will go first or last, rides out in a group or on her own. She is never silly in open spaces even when other horses are cantering or galloping in front of her, she is a forward ride and not a plod. She is green in the school which we have been working on, she is very willing to learn, she pops a small jump and lunges and is just getting the hang of voice commands. She has just started showing, ridden and in hand which she really enjoys. She can be left for weeks not ridden then get on and ride and she is fine. She is great for the farrier and dentist and enjoys a bath. She is very funny and makes us all laugh daily, loves to pull funny faces, she is cheeky and has a fantastic character. She is a stunning looking Mare with a beautiful mane and tail, we have clipped her legs but when grown she has lovely feathers also. Bad bits Mary can be very strong, this is mostly on the ground. If she decides that she wants to go a certain way she can drag you, this is not all the time just odd occasions. Sometimes on a hack she can become strong if she spots a juicy clump of grass. We have noticed that the more she's in work the less this happens. She is great in traffic but is very wary of farm machinery, we have been working on this, she does nothing nasty, just turns away and goes forward a few steps. She can be mouthy but think this is more of an 'age' thing. She is wary of being clipped but our clipper man is patient and she is getting better but we do need to twitch her to do her legs. Reason For Sale Mum has just been diagnosed with a bone problem which her specialist has told her that any fall or bad jolt could result in broken bones. She is now not riding Mary as she is worrying about her pulling and damaging her. We are looking for a 10* home for her as she is very loved and has stole our hearts, this has been a very tough decision but we are wanting to do what is best for her, and she needs to be out having fun. We would like her to go to a teenager or adult that will be able to further her potential as we are sure she will do fantastic as a show pony. Me and mum are both 5'6" and we have had a 5'11" rider on her and they didn't look out of place as she is very wide. Dora is sweet and loving. She always tries her best to please and is a real confidence giver. She has no vices. She comes to call, and is excellent with the dentist, farrier, clipper and vet. She is easy to load and easy to do in all ways. She hacks out alone or in company, is bombproof, great with traffic and responds to voice commands. She is a lovely ride and is always safe and sensible with perfect manners in open fields, on the road and in the manege. 13hh 6 year old coloured cob mare

Story behind Lulu is that I bought her for my daughter to ride as I was told she was broken, hacked around a housing estate, tied up outside a shop on a main road when they went in....etc. I looked at her at 3.30 and by 7pm she was in my stable as she was in a filthy stable with a scattering of filthy shavings, 2 big 24 hour nets both empty and a shitty water bucket. I couldn't leave her. Once I got her the girl said she had been ridden bareback, traveller style and she won't stand still for you to get on. I am not one for rodeo trick riding so we have just had her as a pet for 6 months. With my shop, kids and the other ponies I have no time for a project pony. She is so loving and once she trusts that you arn't going to whip or beat her she is so attentive. She comes to call from the far side of the field if she knows you have a treat. Perfect stable manners. Never "in your face" when mucking out round her. Very clean pony, poos on one spot. A complete, straight from the field, start from the beginning project.
