For sale - Misty is 15.1hh Connemara Cross aged 11yrs old. She is a fun forward going horse that loves being out and about. She loves cross country and working hunter. Up until this year she has been active member of East Lothian Pony Club – attended rallies, competed in pick-a-fence, attended Pony Camp, done some Le Trec and Leisure Endurance Rides. At present she is hacking out and going to the beach with a little bit of schooling. She hacks out alone and happy in traffic. As with most horses she can walk past a huge tractor moving and then spoke at a plastic bag! She doesn’t buck, rear, bolt, bite or kick but she doesn’t like the farrier and we need to sedate her for that. She is shod in the front and bare foot in the back. Although she is not a novice ride she has behaved an angel on lead rein for visiting friends and family having a little ride out! We have had her for 5 years now and we have learned so much from her. My daughter got her when she was 12 and now at 17 does not have as much time for her. She is vaccinated, wormed, up to date with dentals and comes from a strict strangle free yard. Ruby! The beautiful ruby is a stocky 13.1hh Welsh pony x, 11yr old mare. Ruby is one of the most straight foward and sweetest horses I have ever come accross. Fabulous to catch, trim, load and travel. Ruby spent the first part of her life having a couple of foals and hacking around the mountains. Having only 1 previous home to myself since a foal she is sensible, straight foward and gentle. She is excellent in all riding aspects she is 110%in all traffic has been hacked for miles on busy and country roads in company and alone done farm rides, excels XC proving brave and level headed. Luna is very laid back and calm and loves people. She is willing to please and will give anything a go, she has a great attitude to work. She is very safe and easy to handle, has very good stable manners and loves attention. Very patient so will stand for hours to be fussed and groomed. Excellent to bath, clip, load, farrier, and has no vices. She can be more on the lazy side when being ridden so is more suited to the rider that prefers a ride that needs firm encouragement rather than something that needs holding back. She is set to make a fabulous all-rounder although she is still learning with aspects of jumping but has shown great scope and willingness to try. She is great to hack due to being so calm traffic and ‘scary’ things don’t bother her. She is currently on working livery at Northop College equine centre, where she is used by students of ranging abilities and she has become a firm favourite due to her lovely personality and sweet, honest nature. She was also used for the recent riding and road safety British horse society exam at the college because she can be relied upon to behave in traffic. Easy doer. Fully wormed and shod. Full passport. This lovely mare has been used as a trekking pony with us since she was backed so she hasn't done a lot of formal schooling.
