Wonderful TB X Connemara mare for sale!

Wonderful 15 year old mare for sale, would consider LWVTB but only local. This beautiful mare is looking for a her forever home, she is such a genuine mare and wouldn't hurt a fly. I have had her for a year now but my circumstances have changed and can no longer afford to own my own horse anymore. She is an ex show jumper and has been there and done it all. And is now wanting a happier quieter life. Not ready for retirement at all. Is as good as gold to turn out and bring in, (a dope on a rope). She can be a little spooky when hacking but won't ever be nasty. She can go into the school and work beautifully but defiantly loves a good run in the field and hacking. This is not a simple straightforward mare, I am looking for a the next honest home for her, She has had a rectum scan recently and has a hole in her rectum, this does not cause any problems for her at all. She is able to be ridden and worked perfectly. However This mare can not be used as a broodmare as this will complicate matters. I have been advised by the vet to keep her either on grass 24/7, and or on sugar beet alongside with Epsom salts. This is to help keep her droppings soft so that the hole in her rectum does not cause colic. Since I have tried this out I have had no problems at all.:) She does have a old wire injry on her left hind and a splint on her right hind. Again never ever caused any problems for me ever. She is perfect with her shoes and has very good solid feet. The farrier comes every 6 weeks for her. She is due her nextast vaccination (as had to start them again) on the 26th October. 10 year old 14.2hh Mare - All Rounder

Indie is a 10 year old, 14.2hh tobiano (coloured) mare. Trotter X Welsh CHAPS registered and same home for 7 years. I bought Indie as unbroken 3 year old, full history is known and she has been carefully brought on throughout her time with me. She has done pretty much everything with me including dressage, hunting, showing (workers), eventing, show jumping, cross country, Somerford Camps, and endurance rides. Indie also loves to hack out alone or in company, she is happy to take the lead or go behind. She is always snaffle mouthed. She is brilliant even in heavy traffic. Indie can turn her hoof to anything. She is able to produce a nice dressage test, she is careful when show-jumping and bold when going cross country. She doesn't get silly when around other horses and has good brakes. She is only for sale as it is way past time that I moved onto horses. Indie is fully up to date with her vaccinations, worming and teeth etc. She is great with the farrier and currently has a full set of shoes on as we have been hacking out a lot this summer. Stunning all rounder Connemara

Tommie is a stunning 15hh just turned 7 year old Connemara who is regrettably for sale due to upcoming work and college commitments which will mean his talent will be completely and unfortunately wasted with me. Over the two years I have owned Tommie he has done 2 seasons of PC proving to be very versatile, doing all typical PC activities such as SJ, XC and mounted games and camps which he was totally unfazed by and he turned his hoof to absolutely everything and anything, he loves to please his rider. He has competed unaffiliated SJ up to 85cm but this by no means is his limit- he is very scopey and totally unfazed by any fillers or jumps- he never stops. He can be strong and forward going when jumping so no novices- this is only due to his inexperience because of his age, he isn't malicious or dangerous, never bucks/bronks/rears etc he just rushes due to excitement. Tommie has competed in hunter trails and XC which he absolutely loves, he's a real sit and point type of XC ride, takes you to the fence nicely and again he never stops at anything, fine with ditches/water/steps etc, nothing fazes this horse, he is very honest. He is a lovely bold, forward going and easy XC ride, this is definitely his forte. He would make an amazing eventer with the right training, he has a very trainable attitude and will turn his hoof to anything. Likewise he would make a brilliant hunter, there is no country that fazes this horse and he is at his best when he is galloping through the country or XC field. He has XC schooled around BE 90 fences perfectly and very recently got placed 6th out of over 70 entrants at a hunter trail at Osberton Estate with no faults and just 0.69 seconds between him and 1st place! He is the perfect horse for a confident, quiet rider who is looking for a little horse with a massive heart that you can put your own stamp on. Tommie is stabled next to a very busy road which he hacks out on alone or in company perfectly and he never batts an eye in the Heaviest of traffic and isn't spooky at all. Tommie is a very loving horse and really thrives from having trust in his rider as he can be nervous of new people.
