I have owned him since he was a foal and bought him from his breeder knowing what both his dam and sire measured in at and the bloodlines are proven to event. A lot of careful time has been spent on this horse breaking him in and he is just a really respectful honest horse that is always attentive to what you ask him. He has a soft mouth and is good in heavy traffic as he has been ridden on the roads a lot to get him used to all around him. He has seen lots of farm machinery motorbikes and all that kind of stuff.He is good for the farrier and to load, bath and catch. 14.2 to 15 hh Connemara on Irish Passport, Rising 6

Sad sale due to health and family commitments. Very friendly and inquisitive character with fabulous paces, shape and willing to learn to jump (I have not jumped for 30 years so only tried small so far in pictures but have seen him jump higher with other riders). Quick learner. I find he enjoys riding out hacking around countryside combined with riding in a menage. Great to look after in the stable. I think he would best suit a pony club / riding club home or hunter or regular hack but not a novice ride as 5 rising 6 so still has a lot to learn and has done little groundwork. I currently estimate him to be about 148cm /14.2hh, I am told he will make about 15hh so could suit a keen teenager or adult / teen share. I hack him out mainly on his own and sometimes in company. He does still look at things he has not experienced before, but so far I can always ride him by them. Hacked out across country on farm tracks so used to open spaces, and field tracks. Good with other horses. Good to shoe. Loves being brushed. Excellent stable manners. Always comes up to you when its time to come in from his field. Finn is a 4 year old green book full Connemara gelding purchased directly from Ireland a few weeks ago but due to him requiring more time than I have avaliable due to a young baby I'm debating selling him into a new home. He has hunted in Ireland, and has also seen xc fences and showjumping fences, he has a very sweet nature and has good manners although can be wary of you at the start (typical Irish) and a genuine boy to own He stands to have his feet washed and picked out and tonne tacked up and groomed. He has a lot of potential popping 1.15 in Ireland with scope and I think he a sort that is hard to find. He will only be sold to a knowledgeable home where he can further his education to get the best out of him. I am selling my beloved Alfie Moon aka Atlantic Owen. I love this horse to pieces but I’m wasting him as I just have no time. Alfie can show jump confidently up to 1m10. He did a lot of discoveries when he was younger: Alfie also XCs and loves it! He has evented before but his flatwork is too hectic I found. He really is a show jumper through and through. He is a keen forward ride and does the show jumper buck when really excited. Once he’s jumping a round you will find this bucking stops. Alfie isn’t a novice ride for this reason so not really a horse for youngsters or nervous people to progress onto, but some one who wants to jump and loves it will absolutely love him!
